I forgot to tell you that I have a lot in common with CommandoNikki, I'm called CommandoSherry in my family. Of course, I've had 14 trips to WDW for practice and I believe I'm getting really good at it now. LOL
I also have some tips for her to become a better commando.
1. Take breakfast food so everyone can eat in the room in the morning. Saves tons of time.
2. Take a collapsible cooler so you can put ice in it and keep milk, etc. for the breakfast food. Saves even more time.
3. Take lots of snack type food. Put them in tupperware snack or sandwich type containers. When standing in line and someone whines about being hungry, slap the container with snack into their hand and say, "Now you eat." No more complaints about being hungry and you can go on more rides!
4. Have everyone carry their own water bottle (make sure it's insulated for hot/cold beverages. It has to be individual ones too because you'll get, "But his/her germs are on it!" from one of your children.) When someone says they're thirsty, ditto from number 3, but substiture 'drink' for the word 'eat'.
I do feed my family at restaurants, honestly, but I really take snacks because we all eat light and don't like to stop to eat until everyone is hungry. It does keep down complaining and those sunburn slapping, pinch fighting times between my two LYMI kids.
I couldn't resist helping CommandoNikki become better at her job!
