He is now a naturalized American citizen!! party:

Just had to announce this. He's been in this country for fourteen years, and now he's finally a citizen!! Very happy day for us! :cheer2:

Cool! Congratulations to DH and to you! We who are born here often fail to realize just how lucky we are to be citizens of this country. Sometimes it takes a story like this to bring it home.

Congrats to you and your husband.

My dh became a citizen about 8 years ago (after living here almost 20 years). We're have different political views and he always teases he became a citizen just to cancel out my vote!
