Anyone have these? I am picking up a free trial pair from my doctor in about an hour. Will let you know how they are. I am highly motivated for them to work which is in my favor. I am very nearsighted. I can see anything across the room with my contacts but don't hand me something to read. I have to hunt around for my reading glasses and it drives me absolutely crazy. This just started a few months ago. I know it is normal with age (I am 48) but I don't have to be happy about it.

i've been wearing bi-focal contacts for about 3 years. I wear Biomedics by Cooper Vision. I remember I had to try different brands before I decided on Biomedics. Some brands I totally don't work at all.

I might have to try the cooper ones
I tried another brand and they were awful
I couldnt adjust at all

Well I am so mad. My contacts did not come in after all. I called the office this afternoon to see if they had come in and she said they had just arrived. Oh goody. I will be right down which is about a 20 minute drive through heavy traffic but I am pumped because now I will be able to see. I get there and I am talking to the girl and I asked if there was a trick to get the bifocal part in the right place on my eye. She said well these are single vision contacts. I said no they ordered bifocal contacts. She asked for the spelling of my last name which is very very uncommon and it was a similar spelling. Then she checked my address. I was the wrong customer. Not only that but they had just ordered them Friday. I saw the doctor last Tuesday. I swear if she wasn't a good friend I would have really had a fit. So now I am back to wearing the regular contacts and reading glasses and squinting.

I can't wear bifocal contacts because I have astigmatism. So I wear monovision - near correction in one eye and distance in the other. It took a little while to get used to (and about 5 minutes in the morning for the reading lens to "settle") but I love them!

I do the monovision---one contact in one eye, nothing in the other....it works for me!
I did wear two contacts for years...but when I started to wear the reading glasses, they suggested I try just one contact. I love it!

I have used bifocal contacts for about 3 years and have worked great up to a couple of months ago with both near and far sight. Now I need reading glasses over my contacts so I will be updating my prescription so I won't need readers (once again). I use Bausch and Lomb Multifocus.
