Biff's Enchanted Birthday Trip...Twas' the week before Christmas

I love the lights! So sad we didn't get to see them this year! Loved the pics though! :thumbsup2 Can't wait to hear more! Your doing a good job at getting me excited for our trip in 11 more days!

Beautiful lights! Do they still have the fake snow falling as you go through the streets?

My Connor has that exact same shirt that you were wearing! Good taste! :thumbsup2

They did when we were there at Thanksgiving. Brooklynn loved reaching out and trying to grab snowflakes. We saw them on opening night. It was packed!

aw to bad you didnt have one together! the single pics of you and Biff are good! photoshop you two together and theres a great Christmas card.

Well he lives in NYC ya know! Could have been him! (Or one of his look alike cousins) Ya'll should go to his bar and check things out for me. I want to come to NYC so bad! DS started asking to go about two years ago but we've yet to plan a trip.

Okay, so go back and get the guys picture and number for me! k? Thanks!

Lovin' those lights. This was my first time seeing them. It was amazing!
:rotfl2:
we were lucky to get in and see the place. they canceled there open house because his wife just gave birth on Thursday.

i could photoshop them together.

We walked from DHS to the Boardwalk area. I love this walk. So peaceful and relaxing. Biff not so much. He said we should have taken a boat or bus. (He lives in NYC where you walk a lot so he should be used to it).

Anyway, we get to the restaurant a little early and check in, we are seated a minute later.

I only took 2 pics in there.

Me:
App: Lobster bisque
Ent: Scallops
Des: Spiced pumpkin cheesecake
Bev: Boardwalk bay Breeze
Cappuccino
This meal was incredible. The bisque was one of the best I have had. The scallops (all 2 of them, but big) were done just perfect. The cheesecake had the right amount of spices in it.

Biff:
App: Lobster bisque
Ent: Scallops
Des: Pear cobbler
Coffee
His review is short and sweet
atmosphere - Pretty place, disapointed dress code Business Casual most of clients in either Jeans or Shorts & Tee Shirts.
Service & quailty of food excellent

The bill would have been $174.00 out of pocket. Biff said he would pay that and come back.
We left there very happy and will return in the future.

Now we go into the Boardwalk Inn.

With that we caught the bus to MK and then caught the bus to Coronado Springs. We got lucky there was one there and it waited for us as he must have seen us walking towards the bus.

Got an OJ and then watched Stacy and then hit the bed.

All I can say is WOW. I will have to see those lights some day.

Did you look for the hidden mickeys at Daisy and Donald's? I wonder when they started making the gingerbread for that?

Great update.

they r amazing.

I think we found 4. Biff was looking for them but I might be thinking of when we went to Beach Club.

Thank you

that is a goal of mine to walk from MGM over to the boardwalk area, it seems so nice but never done it before.

thank you for posting the osborne lights pics and video (i went over to enchanted and watched them). they are my favorite from the christmas decorations! i loved the castle but these are just so overwhelming and.....PRETTY!!!!!! i could've stood there all night and looked at everything. we got there right as the park closed and it was really nice because the area cleared out pretty quickly and they don't shut them off for another hour, so we had the streets to ourselves for part of that time! ray didn't say two words the whole time were there - he just walked around with his video camera in awe. :goodvibes

oh, and flying fish - i can't wait to eat there someday! it's definitely on my must-do list next trip. when erica and i walked by there one night it smelled SO GOOD - i was drooling.

I love the BW!!!! Great pix!!

The Flying Fish!!!!!!! Glad you enjoyed it....

Mmmm it sounds delicious. Of course it is dinner time here and I'm hungry. Perhaps even a little disapointed now as our Pasta dinner is pretty kindergarten compared to your meals at the flying fish.

Darn it. Wasn't Gavin. But still hot, huh? ;) Your meal sounds delish. I've never eaten there before. Maybe one day if we go alone. The kids would hate it.

I loved the pics of the lights and the decorations at the BW. I can't wait for my trip in December. DH and I are going at that time just to see the lights and decorations at the resorts. We will go to the parls too but I am really looking forward to the christmas decorations.

Scott, your review of Flying Fish was so good that I may have convinced Charles to switch from Yachtman to FF! His exact words were, "I really like lobster bisque!" I want a slice of that pumpkin cheesecake! :thumbsup2

Love the Lights pics! They always look so amazing, I'd love to see them in person one time. And your Flying Fish review was great. I could totally go for some Pumpkin Spince Cheesecake right now! Thanks so much for sharing.

I know you probably mentioned it before, but what part of the city are you in?? And are you originally from here? We need to organize a big Dismeet!

I would have loved to have been there after closing, but dinner awaited us.
you should definitely eat there.

I saw a few kids in there, not many.

it was good cheesecake. (I just had Junior's cheesecake for the first time, that is really god too, I want to try the Reese's)

Upper West Side, soon to be Riverdale (maybe)
that would be great, I know Kat keeps mentioning it and we can see if anyone else wants to come in.

Well day 4 was to find us having a free day till 4pm when they let us in for the party. This changed when we decided not to use a park ticket the first day. We had plans for Cape May Buffet breakfast but I called and canceled. We slept in.

10 am we made it to

Main street looked so pretty with the decorations.
SDC10400.jpg

SDC10401.jpg

First time I saw the Mayor.
SDC10402.jpg

So walked over to the Bakery and my goodness this place was P-A-C-K-E-D. I said no way, there were no seats so I asked if he wanted to see if we can get into CP.
SDC10403.jpg

Biff went to first aid to see if they had cold medicine being the gift store at CSR did not. So I go and check us in. They ask about any celebrations, well I say tomorrow is his birthday and she said “great”, “how old”. I said, “I would like to live to see the rest of my vacation so we won’t say that.” She was hysterical. She told me 10-minute wait. It was less.
SDC10405.jpg

They threw some confetti down. Biff asked me if I told them and I said they asked. He was not happy. He hates attention.
He is pondering the great question. To potty or not to potty?
SDC10407.jpg

Parade time

So Biff goes to the potty to blow his nose (he was gone much longer) and while he was gone the waiter came over and brought him a cupcake for his birthday and this

it was so nice. When Biff got back he loved it. But no singing Happy Birthday to him.

The characters came by twice and we left.

I tipped very well here for the service. He was on top of everything and gave Biff the little surprise.

Then we walked out but wait. More pics. I love how they decorated these for the holiday’s.
