Biff's Enchanted Birthday Trip...Twas' the week before Christmas

Love your TR so far. I debated going to CSR next year and the pictures of it are really nice. I decided to go to CBR instead, checking it out for a huge family trip in a few years. Was sorry to hear about Dinner at Kona. That's one of the restaurants we've never tried and don't know if I want to now. DH and I are steak eaters and a tough steak is not fun. Biff should have complained more. Looking forward to reading more of the TR.

Ok you are really making me want to change my resort We are going on the 4/3 in May to Pop. I now offically want to stay at the CSR I have not even thought about Boma maybe I need to do more research on my possible ADR's. Hope you had a great holiday!

I can understand what Biff means about Kona. Our meal there was just alright. It wasn't horrific by any means but by the way people go on about it here, I was expecting something unique.

I thought the service was a little odd as well. Before we even sat down, our server took us on a tour of these plastic desserts. She didn't tell us what we were doing. It felt pretty stupid.

I chalked my perspective up to having eaten at Vic & Al's Chef's Table the night before. After that, nothing would probably satisfy and we were likely still full. I will have to give it another try in the future. I'm not surprised though, that Biff and others haven't liked it there.

That is funny, we checked out CBR for our June trip. That will be coming on the last day.
I would try, I was there in January and the steak melted in my mouth. bad pieces, could happen anywhere.

I stayed at POP in October. It was ok. Too many kids for me. Riverside is still my favorite resort.

I can never remember what the desserts look like by the time we order them.
I will never get to V&A if Biff is with me. He says he is on vacation and bringing work clothes with him to have dinner is not something he will ever do. I kind of agree with him. But I would like to try it.

Stitch woke me at 7:30. Biff made coffee while I shaved and showered. Biff then goes to Rix Cafe and gets muffins and juice for us. I had a banana nut muffin and is was really good.

My notes say "what a day". It was an Epcot day. Biff's first time at Epcot.

We got to the bus stop at 9:20 then we went to the first bus stop in the front and this is when it got bad. Kind of.

A German or Dutch family got on the bus, 9 of them in total. The father had the biggest double stroller I have ever seen. Then the older woman had a wheelchair. One of the cm's drove the wheelchair on for her. The stroller took up so much space they finally put it on the back seat.
Now it is 15 minutes after we had pulled into bus stop 1.
Finally we are ready to move so this larger woman decides to sit next to Biff on the 2 person seat. I look at him and his eyes bulge out like is she crazy. It was actually funny. I guess she is used to people giving up the seat because she takes up more than her share, well not when Biff is there. (There were plenty of other seats for her to sit on, I think she just wanted this seat) After 2 minutes she realizes he is not getting up and she does and is not happy. Complaining in whatever language they speak. The others are telling her stuff, finally one of the kids gets up from the single seat and she sat there.

I could not believe how upset she got because he would not give up his seat for her when there were plenty of others seats.

So we arrive at Epcot.

First up for the day was Test Track

Well that was fun. Sorry for the shakiness at the end, I had to hold on while outside.
We left the Test Track area.

There were 2 girls behind us and a Brazilian teen who got separated form his family. All 3 screamed like little girls. :rotf:
You cna here Biff say he got dizzy towards the end.

Next up had to be Mission Space being we were right next door.

We did the green side and we both enjoyed it. We then checked out the gift shop for a few minutes.

Both rides were walk ons.

Then we ventured across the way to Soarin' to pick up fast passes.

Return time was 2:06pm

Still never have eaten here.

I think I will stop here...next up - Living with the Land and eating with the fishes.

Fair enough. I had done lots of fine dining (DH is a chef at a fine dining restaurant) but I had never eaten at a 5 diamond before. I can see where you're coming from with bringing along dress clothes. Ironing and vacation don't seem to go together.

We headed over to Living with the land -
I will let the pics speak.

So we exited LWTL and it was the first time I saw people working in there. Also saw on of the tours.

Next we went to Circle of Life but it put us too close to our reservation at Coral Reef.

Ok will stop here tonight...

i'm gonna start calling you lightning mcqueen - you write your TRs so fast! you're ahead of me and i had a head start on you!

wow....i can't believe that woman on the bus. i don't want to sound mean but that's probably part of the reason she was the size she was - people give up their seats to her too often! i don't always think that's the case when people are that size but sometimes it really is due to laziness. anyway, glad biff didn't move!
