Just today, I heard that Biergarten was going dry and serving NA Beer only?

This isn't an April Fool's joke. In our county, they are building a brand new baseball stadium for a minor league team. In order to serve beer on Sundays, they will have to get a special exemption. And people are opposed to that exemption!!!! The best quote was "if you can't go to a ball game and not drink beer, you are pathetic".

We have a minor league team here as well as a local ordinance that you can't sell beer on Sundays. We went last year expecting that the ballpark at a special exemption. NOPE...they can't sell beer . DH was so ticked as he sat there sweating to death . No more Sunday games for us! (And we're not in George, we're in Illinois)

Yes the Biergarten is planning to quit serving beer at the same time that Germany itself passes a law that renders the entire nation dry.
