We have never been to BG for lunch, only dinner. Is the menu much different? Also, are they decked out for Christmas :santa:? We've never visited during a holiday.

Thanks!

They were decorated for Christmas last year and all the other years we have been there. It seems to me they played/sang Silent Night or O'Tannanbaum also. I think the kids story was christmas related also. It seems to me the story was about Silent NIght and then they gave the kids who came up and listened a candy coin or something. We don't have any little kids so I can't be sure about that. I think the lunch is just as good as the dinner for a whole lot less. Allearsnet.com used to have the differences in the menu posted and there were not many differences. We always go at lunch to save the cost. This year we hope to do the Candlelight Processional package and will be paying for 5 adults, so the price will be significant.

Thanks for the reply. I was just reading about the Candlelight Processional and I think that we may have to do that in conjunction with Biergarten.

We always have lunch there! It's very good!!!! I like it better than the dinner menu for some reason.

Yep, that's exactly what they did. They actually gave the kids a couple of coins (gold foil wrapped chocolate). We did the CP package with it last year, and DD (5) loved it.

items added to the dinner menu - maybe four or five. It's mostly the same. The two that I remember are the beef roulade and the sauerbraten. I can live without the roulade, but I do like the sauerbraten.

Ohh, I love rouladen. We may have to do dinner. Sauerbraten is a biggie for me too. The rest of the family could care less, but those are deal-breakers for me :lmao: .
