I got all excited about adding Biergarten as one of our choices based on peoples suggestions of how fun it is for kids. Then I looked at the menus. I know some of you have kids that will eat anything. I don't. My kids like traditional kid stuff. Hamburgers, chicken nuggets, hot dogs, pizza. They might do mac and cheese. Is there anything here that is not "german"? I couldn't find anything.

I am pretty sure there was a kid buffet w/ chicken nuggets and pizza on it, the standard stuff that is on all the kid buffets. There are hotdogs on the regular buffet that my kids put on the pretzel rolls and loved them.

I do not recall them having pizza anywhere on that buffet. Chicken nuggets and mac & cheese, maybe - I don't have kids so I didn't pay attention. They did have frankfurters.

There was no kids area on the buffet at Biergarten any of the times we've been. No pizza at all. There was some mac and cheese, chicken and something similar to a hot dog that my kids refused to eat LOL

My kids ate more at our Biergarten meal than any of our other meals! I told them there would be different kinds of "sausages" to choose from. They picked a couple to try. There was roast chicken - they loved that! There was roast pork and a roast beef item - they tried that and that was OK with them. They really loved the potato soup! There was also mac n cheese. I can't remember if it was on the buffet or if the waitress brought it for the kids.

We went with my 2 grandchildren (3 &7 ) in June, They loved this restaurant! there were probably some kid foods, but it was just one large buffet for everyone and the kids ate bits of everything. They especially loved the performers and offering toasts. In fact, they still want to do toasts when we go to a restaurant!

Ditto! My kids (DS3 and DD14months) ate the most at the Biergarten versus every other meal at WDW! They both loved the frankfurters (both like hot dogs & any kind of sausage), both ate the mac & cheese. I don't recall nuggets. There are all kinds of "cheesy potatoes" or at least thats what I called them and they ate them as well as roasted potato wedges. Since it's a buffet, I just put a little bit of many things on a couple of small plates. They loved the desserts! Most of all, they both loved the music; we danced and watched the entire show from the dance floor. Both kids were enraptured!

ETA: Ticky Tocky Ticky Tocky Hoy Hoy Hoy!

If your children will only eat "kid food" there isn't any there except for Mac & Cheese. The chicken is roasted, not breaded.

We'd love to go again, but DS4 would not eat anything but chicken nuggets, pizza, etc... usual kid fare. We're considering Coral Reef instead.

They have roast chicken and chicken nuggets, hot dogs, mashed potatoes, spaetzel which is just pasta, mac and cheese and veggies, pretzel rolls..the kids should be fine
