Biergarten in Epcot

My DM and I ate there once, in 1998, or 2000. We picked it then because it was one we could get in last minute. I didn't know anything, really about it. This was in the days before I over planned everything :rotfl2: . I remember it as being just okay. We arrived during the show and it was the last one of the night. The food was fine. I know there were some German items on the buffet. I also remembered that we rushed out so we could see Illuminations, so we didn't spend that long in there. I enjoyed being seating at the community table. The people we spoke to were nice.

I've thought about returning, to try it again, but now that I have my DD7princess: , I usually find a place I think she'll enjoy more. I know she would enjoy the pretzel bread and maybe the roasted chicken, but other than that, there's not much else there she would eat. Also, it bugs me that beverages aren't included in the price. :confused3 Maybe alot of diners drink beer instead of sodas, etc.?

Oh, and that is NOT spaetzle! My husband didn't mind the food as much, but hey, he's Belgian. ;)

My daughter just came back from a trip to Germany, and the family she stayed with fed her spaetzle all the time. I'm glad I read your post, because she said that's the only reason she'd eat at Biergarten.
