Biergarten - Anyone Have Reviews?

On our last trip to WDW (12/4-12/15), we went to Biergarten twice and loved it both times! The food is very filling and the entertainment is good. The second time that we went, we had a waiter named, Robert. After seeing that my DD ate next to nothing at the buffet, he asked his manager if they could take her buffet off of the bill and they did! Both of our waiters, Robert and Benji, were excellent!!

As for the buffet, I loved the chicken schnitzel and the roasted potatoes. DH loved everything!;) The girls (ages 2 and 4) loved the mac-n-cheese and the soups.

I hope you have a great time!

Not one of my favorites, but DH and my brother love it! The food is not appealing to me, nor is the atmosphere.

I enjoyed Biergarten. A couple of schooners of weissbier helped.

Ate there before CP on Dec 6th, and stronglyy disliked it. Everything tasted like vinegar. JMHO

The last time I was in Disney, I made it a point to go to the Beirgarten and to drag my friends there. I love German food. The Beirgarten did not disappoint. The food was good, mostly traditional, and the price - considering it's buffet - is very good.

The decorations and the band were side-notes for me, but it was fun having the band there.

We ate at the Biergarten for lunch one day on our trip. LOVED IT! If you don't like German food, then stay away. Everything was great. We were able to be seated around 12:30 (only after a 5 min wait) without a PS! Just in time to see the show at 1:15. Definately worth the money spent!

My family and I have been to WDW 3 times and Have gone to the Biergarten at least once or twice each visit. My parents and I just love the food. I naturally loved since I've been raised on German food. But this spring we're bringing my boyfriend whom is Hawaiian and hadn't tried German food til he and I started dating... and now he's looking forward to our visit at the Biergarten! Some of the best German food I've ever had!

It must depend on when you go. I went to the Biergarten a couple years ago and loved it so much that I made a reservation for my trip in May of this past year. However, this past time, the Biergarten really didn't impress me. The food seemed sloppy and a bit bland. I grew up in Germany, so I know how succulent the food is when it's cooked right.

I've been there three times. The first time, I really enjoyed the food and thought it was somewhat close to Bavarian style food. Then the next two times I found the offerings, quality and service to have diminished.

The atmosphere is fun, but certainly not romantic, so don't plan this as a special night with your partner! Tables are shared. as is often the case in the Munich beer halls.

I would go for lunch, for the price break, to determine if the food/atmosphere is to your liking. I much prefer Akershus in Norway. The food there just seems so much fresher and authentic, and the atmosphere is a bit on the romantic side ;-)

We ate there for the first time on this trip and loved it. I thought the atmosphere was really fun, but loud. Be prepared to sit with strangers at your table, because they will fill every seat. My husband is the pickiest person when it comes to food and he even liked it. I felt like they had options everyone would like, including plain baked chicken, roasted potatoes, bread, mac and cheese -- just some very basic foods. Then they also had traditional German foods if you liked that. The desserts were excellent too -- they had a wonderful vanilla sauce to pour over the desserts...mmm. It was yummy!
