hi would it be wrong for me to send my DD to Biddidi Bobbidi Boutique with a princess dress already on that we bought some were else

i just cant see spending the $175.00 to buy the dress from there

or is that just being cheap?

That is what I plan on doing. I am undecieded if I am letting her pick a dress out the night before in the park or if I am asking her what she wants and getting it on sale after halloween at the disney store. (Last year I got her a beautiful Ariel for $29) She wont wear the shoes and all the accesories that comes with it. I just would rather let her pick the dress and spend the $45 for the hair and nails.

I'm also taking the less expensive route. We have a hand-me-down Jasmine costume that my 5 yo DD will be wearing. She's thrilled. She knows I'm kind of cheap and she's lucky to be going to the BBB! :rotfl:

My dd will be wearing the Cinderella dress that she already owns. We're splurging, as it is, on the $45 package (in addition to several other fun activities that we haven't done in the past). She really won't know the difference. And there would be no way we could do this for $175. I am curious if we can still purchase the photo package seperately. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll have a photopass photographer there!

Does anyone know how quickly these are filling up? Should I be calling now for October? Or do I have some time?

Well, I didn't book the Castle package because, for the life of me, I can't figure out how all that adds up to $175!

Hair, nails, etc. like in the Crown Package $45
Photoshoot $30
Princess dress $65 (for a normal one...not a 'fancy' one)

So this just adds up to $140. What am I missing that is worth an extra $30?

I plan on purchasing a dress and doing the Crown Package. Even without the pics I'm still saving a ton.

What am I missing? :confused3

Wow, daddyof2; who would think someone is "cheap" just because they don't order the most expensive item from a Salon?

I think they have to expect it.
We have the crown package booked. My daughter still doesn't know. (9 sleeps!!!) I am packing and hoping for her to wear the Cinderella dress I made for Halloween last year. I have already made "this year's Halloween costume" of an Aurora pink dress. She thinks I made it now because we will be too busy this summer. DD prefers the dresses I make for her instead of what is in the stores.

I already have the Cinderella accessories so I am hoping to steer any purchases towards Aurora.

And thanks to Connorsmom911's DH for picking up the last pair of "glass slippers" for us last fall!

I was there a couple of weeks ago with my DD and niece. My DD came wearing a dress. We got the coach package. My niece got the works - costume and all. They really were treated no differently. My advice is to bring your own dress and honestly, skip the nails. They give you these fake ones that come off easily. They will paint them for you, but it really isn't worth it as the hair and make up really is treat enough. All girls get to go for the photoshoot, but the girls with the works get some photos included. That is part of what you are paying for.
