Bicycle to Disneyland?

We are planning a trip to Disneyland soon, and will be staying in our motorhome at a nearby RV park. It is certainly within walking distance, but I was thinking that since we'll be walking all day long, it would be nice to be able to ride our bikes to the front entrance of Disneyland. I emailed the Disneyland information people about riding a bike to Disneyland, and they said:

"For those Guests who opt to ride their bicycles to the Downtown Disney® District, there is a bike rack located on the west end of the Downtown Disney® District by ESPN Zone® and the Valet drop-off/pick-up area.
Because bicycling is prohibited in the Downtown Disney® District, guests may walk their bike upon entering the property to the bike rack."

The problem is, we will be coming down Harbor Blvd, and don't want to have to go through all of Downtown Disney. Are there bike racks near the pick up and drop off zone on the Harbor Blvd. area? Has anyone else ever ridden their bike daily to the park from their hotel or RV park?

Thanks!

Yes, there are bike racks on the Harbor side.

They are next to the Disneyland side (versus the DCA side) of the area where the hotel vans drop/pick up their guests. Before you go through the security check points.

Ditto... I do remember seeing them there as well. :thumbsup2

Just backing up the bike rack answer. I've seen them there also.
Enjoy your stay! And that's a great idea to use your bikes.

Lucky you! Great idea! I live about 50 miles away and have played with the idea of riding to Disneyland, spending the night and riding home (or better, having a friend shuttle me home!). Just to say so. Ride safe!

Ride safe!

IME I would be very, very careful if you ride a bike around the Anaheim resort area.

I live in an area where a lot of tourists visit and have been hit a couple times. People consider it to be very bike friendly, but tourists are too busy staring at maps or something and didn't notice me. Likewise they didn't notice that traffic lanes merge or that there are stop signs at the corners.

So use extra caution when in the area around the parks.
