For what it's worth, I am 3 weeks out and was able to schedule 2 of my children for the Empress and Pirate packages at $39.95 each.

I believe it is ages 3-12, but I'm not positive that 12 is the limit.

Prices vary for each package, they can range from $39.95-$200 depending on what you want included.

Once your cruise is booked and you are able to make reservations, they list all the available packages on each night with what's included and pricing as well as available appointment times.

So OP, assuming you aren't in a concierge cabin, you'll be able to book 75 days before you sail.

We leave in May and when I tried to book one of the packages at BBB at few weeks ago there were appts available, but they were out of my girls sizes for the bathing suit (Mermaid pkg) - 7 and 10. They did not expect to get more in anytime soon. Not sure if it would have helped to book months ago. Not sure if they "hold" those sizes, but I doubt it. The cast member said it probably would not have mattered. So we had to go with a different package. So just be prepared with options.

Very helpful info. Trying to avoid having a disappointed granddaughter. I can give her the choices and she can prioritize them. All we can do is try.

I think you will be able to at the 75 day time frame, even possibly get a better slot while on the boat. I was surprised by BBB in that we didn't really think it was worth the cost, but we may try the pirate package next time around. Good luck!

Was on the Fantasy, Apr 15 - 23. Even though I was a first-time cruiser and I had to wait till I was 75 days out, I was able to book my five year old grand-daughter an appointment on the day of the Prince/Princess dinner. I seem to remember that there were several time slots available at the time as well. I bought her an entire makeover package including, makeup, hair, a Jasmine dress, and shoes. This cost about $240 and it was well worth it. The stylists call themselves Fairy Godmothers in Training. Ours engaged our grand-daughter, Savanna, with little stories; she explained what she doing at every step, and made sure that Savanna was always comfortable.

I do not think you will have any trouble booking an appointment. Even if you have to wait till you get on board, I do not think you will have any problems. Our appointment was at 12:45 and when we arrived, there was only one other client inside. Slowly more and more clients came in and they were full at about 1:15. You probably could easily have secured a 12:00 appointment on that day.

Sailed on the Fantasy in April. First time cruiser. Got appointments for my girls online, but not the times I really wanted. After getting tickets for the Princess Gathering and meeting Anna/Elsa for the first sea day, I thought it might be nice for them to be all "princessy" for those meetings. Went into BBB on first day and got them appointments for next morning (I think it was 10am). They had a couple of appts left for that morning. It seemed that you could more easily get appointments for the mornings as most people don't want the kids to get all dolled up and then ruin it in the pool. I knew we weren't using the pool on sea days so it wasn't an issue for us.

We just booked and are less than 60 days in for our July cruise, and there are tons of spots left I just saw.
