Bibbidy Bobbidy Headache!

I may have made a horrible life decision. My goddaughter visits me (and other local family) for a week every summer. I always have the godmother pixie dust ready for her visits. This year I made the unforgivable mistake of promising her a trip to the Bibbidy Boutique. I had NO IDEA that it’s become impossible to get that reservation!

I have an alarm every morning and the first thing I do when I wake up is try to get a reservation 60 days out. Nothing is available at 6 am!

Am I going to have to make a hotel reservation to get into the boutique….?

Do they take walk ups?

What about rope dropping?

Open to any reliable strategies you can offer. Please share your experience with getting a res

You can go for EFEO a facebook group of laid off DW employees that offer many services. I scheduled a woman to come to our hotel room and she did the full hair and makeup. They also go to private homes . Granddaughter did not want nailpolish nor extensions. But take a look at their page as they come to you and make the day special.

I suspect that pandemic pent up is still driving BB bookings and will for another year or so as more international guests are able to return.

I was able to get a walkup haircut at Harmony Barbershop a few days before Christmas several years ago, only had to wait 20 minutes for the best cut of my life. Sheer pixie dust, that was.

That's a far different story than Bibbidi Bobbidi, though, which is the BOG or Space 220 of hairstyling, etc. I wouldn't advise a walkup there unless you've a DGD who wouldn't be crushed to be turned away.

Is there a second location in WDW? Maybe that has easier appointments.

Ahh, I just looked it up and there is/was a second location in Disney Springs but that webpage says
Temporarily Unavailable

I just did some searching. Try looking at 12 am Est. Some tours and stuff open reservations at midnight.

By 6 am all reservations are gone. They open up at midnight. But the past few weekends a lot of appointments have opened on for the weekend on the Friday before. Probable because they got extra people to work.

In addition to setting up an alert, I would keep checking the app when the date gets closer. Appointments definitely pop up. There is also a BBB reservations group on Facebook you may want to check out.

I know this post is a few months old, but my booking window is coming up quickly and while I'm very familiar with bookings ADRs, I've never booked something like BBB before. Just want to confirm that this is still available for booking at 12 midnight on your booking day? Don't want to miss it by waiting until 6am! TIA!

Yes, normally midnight or shortly after.

I booked at midnight (Eastern) 60 days out for our trip earlier this month.

Anecdotal, so take it with a grain of salt, but my cousin got next day walk up in May for his daughter. Just walked up and asked if they had any availability and they gave him an open appointment for the next day. Good luck!
