Bibbidi Bobiddi Boutique for a 13 year old?

I took my teens to the barbershop on Main St. in the MK. They got cool updo's with colored gel for only $7.50 . We got so many compliments on them.

We wait and go to the barbershop every year. The DH and both DS get the hair cuts for the same price as going to supercuts or equal. With that comes the colored Mickey Head, Mickey sprinkles, gel, etc.
We buy sparkle stuff at Sally's beauty and carry it everywhere we go for DD. She will tell us she 'wants to be a princess' which means putting on sparkles. She is our only DD and the baby and we buy a LOT of pretty dresses. (All on sale of course.) She wears them all the time. But at WDW she doesn't stick out so bad. princess:

I think you could make it a fun Mom & Daughter activity. But I think a thirteen year old is too old to do it by herself. I would do it with my daughter. Most of the girls you see having it done are between 5 and 9. I think she would feel childish/embarrassed to do it by herself.

I posted this - but have to come back and apologize. I thought it was your MOM talking. Do you get that much?:)
I think if you want to do something - go for it!
Live it up.
Take a crown for everyday.
We buy tiaras for our little DD back in the wedding section at Walmart for around $7.50. They're made better and look better than anything from the toy section AND they fit her head.
Good luck raising the money.
Ask around with some of the Mom's you know to see if you can do some extra housework. I have the daughter of a friend come over and help me to earn extra money. I pay her $5 / hour (that's what she asked for). It's nice having company when I do some of the truly obnoxious jobs like cleaning out closets and the attic.
It's coming into spring in a lot of places (not here where we have a couple feet of snow) - how about some of the prep work for flower gardens?
Best of luck.:cheer2:

I am right there w/you..because the only thing I would change for my next WDW vacation is that I (39) will be taking a crown along for me to wear at the parks.

Me too! I'm 33 and I bought a Cinderella crown to wear on our trip in May (disneyshopping.com has some really pretty ones! ;) ). My sister, who will be 39, also got one!

go for it sweetie! I am 25 and I have my appt in June when I go with my family! My sis(age7) and I will be beautiful when we see Cinderella that evening at her castle! I think you will have a great time! Good luck on getting the funds! :yay:
