I am going to WDW MAY 2014 and want to get my two 4 year olds an appointment at BBD and then go straight to CRT for lunch at 11:45. What time should I make the BBD reservations at the castle? Thanks!

I would make the first BBB appt for the day. Then it wont cut into your ride time. The 1st appt is usually at 8 and MK opens at 9.
Then go to CRT at 11:45 for lunch.

We would do this with DD. The fairy godmothers in training use so much hairspray , DD's hair didnt move for 2 days even after riding coasters and sleeping.

I agree. Earlier is better! :thumbsup2

I agree, get an early one, 8:05 if you can. You can get in some rides and do her photo session before CRT. Maybe even do Enchanted Tales with Belle or meet Rapunzel if either of those interest her to max on princess time.

Thanks! If we do an 8:00(or any time really) appt at BBD, what time would we have to leave our hotel? There are shuttles that will take us there earlier? Sorry, this is my first time at WDW with kids, last time I was there it was the year 2000 and I was in college.

This is what we are doing. BBB at 8, photoshoot, then we have FP+ for ETWB. Breakfast (cheaper than lunch!) at CRT at 10:15! OP, the busses will start running early enough for you to get there. I would be at the bus stop at 7-7:15.

The first BBB then the first CRT lunch has always been the plan for my DD's. So defineately try to get the first or earliest BBB if you are doing an early lunch.

We took our girls to BBB followed by CRT last March. We made their BBB appts. for 8:00. We got finished with BBB just before rope drop, and then went straight from there to ETWB. We were the 2nd group to go into the cottage that day. Then, we were able to walk right on Little Mermaid. I can't remember what time our CRT reservations were, but I think it was at the last time that you could go and be served breakfast rather than lunch. The timing was perfect! Despite going on several rides before eating, their hair still looked perfect at meal time (for the rest of the day, actually).

Check with the concierge at your hotel to see what time the earliest bus leaves your resort. They do offer early buses for early morning breakfasts. I would be at the bus stop at least one hour before your appt.

You don't want to be rushed walking down Main Street at the MK. It's such a wonderful experience when you are there with hardly anyone around. :goodvibes

Are your 4 year olds morning people and are you dealing with a time change? My DD (now 7) has never been a morning person and pre-park opening breakfasts appointments did not work for her when she was that age. We usually do BBB somewhere between 10:00 and 10:30 and then CRT between 12:00 and 12:30. If you did CRT at 10, and got there at park opening, you could do a few things around Fantasyland before the appointment. It should be in plenty of time to make the 11:45 CRT (if you tell them what time your ADR is, they will be sure to get you there in time). When we do 10 and 12, we usually have time to ride the carousel and visit the Fairy Godmother who is doing meet and greets out by the castle, and still make it to our ADR 10 or 15 minutes early.

This is a tradition for us, always the 8:05 and CRT at 945 or so. We even have time for photos in between!
