my girls will be 7 & 5 when we go. Is it something we should do? I am not sure if I should look into it.

Thanks!

Depends, of course, on the girls.
Mine could absolutely not cope. She can't sit and get her hair brushed and done for any length of time. In fact, she can't sit still at all.
But, some girls absolutely love the attention and the sparkly, girliness.

If they are really into Princesses and dressing up, they will absolutely love it. Plus they get called Princess by everyone, lots of attention. It's so cute!

some girls are not so "girly" and may not enjoy it as much. I would show them a video or pics and ask them...although it's pretty pricey!

My daughter has gone twice. Once at 6 and once a week ago at 9.... She loves it! She's a very girlie girl though. She loves for every cast member in the park to call her princess for the day! And to say how pretty she looks. If they like to wear makeup and have nails done and hair fixed then I'm sure they would love it! Plus after makeover they do many many posed pictures plus the ones they take while getting their makeovers. So if u bought memory maker you will get all the pictures.

If they are dressing up, to save some $$ buy their outfits elsewhere. Also; if you have the Memory Maker they will do a photo shoot of your girls, separate and together (this was great). Our oldest did not want to do it at first but since her lil sis was going she would go:) Well, they both loved it and totally enjoyed all the pampering and special attention that they got, there and later at the park.

Another option is pirate league. It's not as girlie. They have all the pirate makeovers but also do a mermaid makeover. Much less time spent on hair.... It's very minimal hair! Much cheaper too.
Yes! I am going to book this for my dd. Finger's crossed it works out that we can do it the same day as Pirates and pals

My daughter did it at age 8, and it is such a wonderful memory. I'm so glad we did it when we did, because by the next time we went to WDW, she was not interested in it at all. If your girls are into doing make-up and hair, I definitely think it's a worthwhile and fun experience. pixiedust:

YES! My daughter is 10 now and has been going to the BBB for years. She loves it. Such a great experience. Just this week, we went to the new Disney Springs location. Love it!

My girls (ages 7 and 4) absolutely loved it. It was definitely the highlight of the trip. Now, my girls are princess obsessed and love dressing up and getting their hair and make up done. If your daughters aren't into all of that, it might not be worth it. We brought our own dresses from home (from the Disney Store) to cut down on costs. We also went to CRT that evening while they were dressed up and it was extra magical. This is one of the things they have begged to repeat on our next trip.

I can't wait to do it w my DD :cutie: just want to wait until she's a bit older, so that she can get the full experience (nails & makeup included!) tentatively scheduled for spring 2018 :flower1: plus, we want to go all out - no expenses spared!

My DD did it when she was 4 and she is VERY girlie!! She did enjoy the attention and getting pampered but she actually cried about the hair. She held it together until we got out and my mom complimented her on how beautiful she looked and she lost it. She's used to seeing her bangs and since they pull them back into the updo she did NOT like that. And they can't leave the bangs down because all 3 hairstyles you choose from are trademarked and they can't do anything different there. So just keep that in mind :) Other than that she loved the experience!

To keep it on the cheaper side (besides bringing your own costumes), you can get the package with the Princess T-shirt and tutu. We went in August when DD had her appointment and she loved wearing that outfit as opposed to a scratchy, heavy costume. AND she still wears the outfit all the time, even to school!! It's very cute.

My daughter has done BBB twice (3 and 4) and Pirates League once (5). She is girly. She liked both experiences, but she liked Pirates League a bit better. I have another girl who is almost three. We plan to try BBB again for both in another year or so.

by dresses from disney store now, if they have any left on sale from halloween. Also bring tennis shoes for the rest of the day. My recommendation is do the w/hair and makeup part not full blown$$$$ and bring a camera.... both my girls did it and my boy pirate one it was cool as well. Lots of girls are doing pirate make over as well

I agree with this. The first time my daughter did BBB, we did the whole package, dress, makeup, hair, nails. The second time, we brought the dress. I don't think bringing your own outfit detracts from the experience at all. It saves a lot of money.

silly ? but if the girls all have their nails already professionally done, there's no discount right for doing just the hair/basic package? thinking of doing the basic $60 but nails and toes will already be done @ the salon before we leave for the trip. TIA
