We have our 10 year old daughter with us on our trip, and she's begging to do this. I was looking at the cheaper 2 packages. We definitely aren't spending the $200 for the highest package and she isn't THAT much into princesses themselves, just wants to get her hair done, really. She was 2 the last time we went, and this will probably be the last time she'd be able to do it with her age.

1. Is it really worth the experience?
2. How long does the hair/makeup/nails package take to do?
3. How long out do you have to make reservations?
4. How hard is it to get into?

1 - totally worth it IMO - daughter loved all the attention she got
2 - I would give yourselves about an hour between wait time and make up/hair
3 - for MK location ASAP as first morning slots go first and fast
4 - depends on date your going and time slot you want and cancellations do happen so keep calling if you don't get an appt right away

We did it for our twin daughters last summer. They are 10 now, but 9 at the time. We did the middle package, about $60 with hair, nails, makeup. It was worth it, but for us only once. (We are not repeating it this summer and neither one of my girls was interested in doing it again). We made reservations about 180 days out for about 11:50 am. They seemed to be lots of spots to choose from 180 days out. We wanted have the appointment before lunch so that we could spend the morning touring. Our appointment was right before CRT and that made it special to be all dressed up for the princesses. We got to our appointment about 15 minutes early and waited about 20 minutes. The entire experience lasted about an hour. One thing to note - my daughters did complain the hair style (princess) was too tight and they pulled it out a couple of hours later. The other hair styles looked really cute (pop star and one other) and didn't look as uncomfortable.

We are doing the bibbiti bobbiti boutique for our 10 yr old this summer as well. She wants to do it, and a friend of mine said it was worth it and to do the 200 dollar package. It will be the only time she can do it plus it's her first time at Disney world so we are doing the 200 dollar princess experience.

We were thinking about the full package, but she's not into the princesses that far and honestly doesn't like dresses, we didn't figure it was worth it for us. But the experience alone for our only daughter... ok, so it's more for me than for her LOL But I so think the little extra money is worth it!

1. Is it really worth the experience? I'm not really sure. I think that if she's asking to do it that she will enjoy it. My girls (7 and 4 when they went) MUCH preferred PL over BBB.
2. How long does the hair/makeup/nails package take to do? Not too long, maybe an hour. Make sure that you leave time after to have a photo shoot at the shop across the way. They took about 150 pictures of my 3 kids that were added to my MM.
3. How long out do you have to make reservations? If you know when you want to go, definitely make it at 180 days (the 180 + 10 should apply for onsite).
4. How hard is it to get into? MK is more difficult than DTD, but if you make it at 180 days it shouldn't be much of a problem. It may be more difficult if it is a party night.

Learn from my mistake-make your reservations at 180 days out! I waited until about 4 months out (clueless grandma here) and when I did, I only had a choice of 2 times all week, both at the DTD location. However, while we were there, there were lots of people who just walked up, thinking "This is kinda neat! Can DD do it?" Boy, would I hate to be those parents, having to tell their DDs that they can't. And just another tip-we took a time at the end of the day, hoping the hairstyle would last overnight. It did without any problem-They use LOTS of hairspray!

Reserve with a credit card, just like an ADR. I paid on the day we were there.

Just a note- you can bring your own princess dresses and don't have to purchase the ones they sell at BB. That's what we did and my girls wore them to MK that day. Worked out great.

My daughter did this last year and wants to do it again. We did the 60 dollar package and brought her Anna costume. We got in at 8 am at Magic kingdom and we were lucky because the park wasn't yet opened! She enjoyed the whole experience except for the bun she said it really hurt, but was a trooper and left it in all day. We did get some amazing pictures of her in front of the castle with no one else in it.

It's worth it. Booked one of the cheaper packages for just hairs/nails last time we went. Luckily we were also doing a MNSSHP that trip, so we brought a Rapunzel costume from the Disney store for school and brought it to use at MNSSHP and the day she did her hair. Came out quite a bit cheaper than the big package.

Also, book a reservation ASAP. Our last trip was only a few months out and we didn't have any problems with FP+/ADRs that a little website stalking didn't fix. However BBB can't be reserved online, you have to call, and it was the only thing that didn't work out well at all timing wise since we couldn't get a better time slot.

That's what we are hoping to do! To miss the crowd a bit, but also to get it over with right away!

Definitely worth it. BBB was the highlight of our trip for DD5. We booked the crown package thinking we'd just bring a dress with us but we ended up buying an Elsa dress there. DD is already talking about being turned into a princess next year.

DD just did it, she's 5... It was fantastic!

We got the big package but brought our dress, we purchased some gloves and purse there, and she got at shirt and tutu to keep.

Works like an ADR, they will charge you if you don't make it/cancel too late, so you need a CC to secure.
