Has anyone done this?

I'm taking my nieces, 15, 12 and 9 and they're all Disney Princess mad.

I am aware that a lot of people take their own dress in, which would suit us as I had some hand made last year for Halloween... not sure if they'd fit come next summer mind you! If not, how good a quality are the dresses they give you?

How strict are they over the age limit? Are there ever any exceptions? I know the 15 year old would be really upset if she can't do it :(

Hi we are taking my daughter 4 and niece who will be 13 that day, when i rang to book they said if she was 13 and over she couldnt do it, but if i was telling them she was 12 they would have to go with it, so she is now 12. Maybe harder for the 15yr old but thats the route you may have to take with her and tell a white lie.;)

We did this in 2009 - it was brilliant!! we booked the basic package to get the reservation and then you have the option to upgrade there if you want to buy the outfit! The experience is really cute and my daughter absolutely loved it! We are going in 28 days and have done the same again. another idea is not to tell them that you have booked it... we got a card printed with all the information on it and 'invited' her to become a princess and got the hotel to bring it to our table at breakfast, they brought the 'special delivery' tied up with balloons and presented it to her - She was beside herself with excitement!

Age limit is now 12.

An alternative for the older one would be main street barber - they do glitter/coloured gel.

We always take own dress for DD.

The disney ones are nice - very pouffy and glittery - but cost $65 plus tax. Not sure how big a size they have.

I like this idea! I might 'invite' my two youngest for a makeover too. They will be 5 and 8.:goodvibes My 12 year old would divorce me if I booked it for her.:rotfl:

My daughter had it done in the MK one in 2008, we had to book a long time in advance to get an early appointment but that was when the MK one had just opened. She was 9 years old and one of the biggest in there at the time. When we went 2 years later at 11 years old she was not interested at all.

Its is brilliant but expensive espcially for 3 girls but they will love it, we did it last September, used our own dress (did later another day buy the dress, because dd had own spending money) and went straight to CRT they take offical photos at the CRT plus if theres 6 or more you get 2 offical pic inc in the price, bettet value than paying the top package price for all girls at bbb.

We have done this twice for my DD, she was 4 and 6.....she loves it, but it is full of little girls, I've never seen anyone older having it done. Have you had a look at the the hairsyles you can choose, there isn't many.

I made DD a cinderella workdress, which she wore to her appointment and then I changed her into a cinderella cotton dress I made.
