Hello,

My family and I will be returning to Walt Disney World for our 4th annual family holiday in October 2018

My youngest daughter, who will be 21 at the time of the trip, is desperate to take some pictures inside the boutique. Last year she managed to buy a sash within Disney springs but what we'd like to know is if you can simply enter the boutique to have a look around. If it's not busy would they allow you to take pictures of the art work and decorations? Is there such a thing as a bibbidi bobbidi boutique tour?

Many Thanks

I would not be comfortable with random people coming in to walk around and intrude on the experience for my DD and other little girls.
Plus the location at the castle is very small and very cramped for space already.

I understand that, I'd thought with some of the parks offering the extra magic early hours there could be a slot of free time to have a quick look around. Guess not, it's for the better though we wouldn't want to spoil anyone's special moments! thank you

It wouldn't hurt to ask. Maybe late in the day? I agree that it's cramped in there but probably less so before closing. They may say no just because I bet a lot of people ask each day to look around inside.

I don't agree with the comment about random people are coming in and intruding on my daughters experience though. Think that was a little much.

When I took my seven-year-old two years ago I had no idea who belonged to who and there were a lot of adults walking around taking pictures of their children. I'm sure my child was in the background of some of those pictures but that's par for the course at Disney. You're not paying for a private one-on-one experience so to call it an intrusion just doesn't make sense.

I hope she gets to look around inside, it's really pretty!

BBB is actually open at 8 AM every day. So on days with morning EMH at 8 AM, it's already operating. During the evening EMH it's not going to be staffed.

I certainly don't begrudge other members of a girl's group the opportunity to mill around and take photos. But I would not have wanted additional random people in there taking up more space. Sometimes it felt like there was barely room to back up and take photos of my own child.

That said, you can always ask. And they can always say no. I have a friend who wanted to take photos of the new location at Disney Springs and was told she couldn't get back there without someone in her group with an appointment.

Yes, agreed. BBB is very, very crowded. I didn't even have a place to sit down when I took my DD. I had to stand, and the entire time, I felt like I was constantly in someone's way, sidestepping back and forth. It was a magical experience for her but not so much of one for me. I felt pretty frustrated and tired by the time she was done. Even taking photos made me feel like I was just in the way too much. There was hardly anywhere for me to stand that wasn't blocking something that someone wanted to do.

I also agree with the comments that most parents wouldn't appreciate photos taken of their daughter. I don't mind if my DD happens to end up in the background of someone's photo, but I wouldn't be comfortable with someone who wasn't a parent walking around and taking photos that may/may not be of my child. BBB is a very cute place, but it is very small and crowded. They need more space, especially for families to sit. If a child has more than 1-2 family members along, there simply isn't enough room for parents of other children, much less other park guests.

Thanks,

my DD was actually a little upset reading the replies; she's a very reclusive person and only ever comes out of her shell when we visit the parks. She really loves the architecture of the parks and buildings, etc. so naturally wanted to take pictures. I assure everyone that she'd never go out of her way to be rude or intrude on anyone's experience at the BBB child or not.

I didn't realise how small it was; the only time we visited is when it was really quiet last year and my DD asked a fairy godmother in-training whether she'd be able to purchase a sash. She was told yes and was led to another part of the building while I and my family immediately left and waited outside (out of the way.) Thanks for the information!

That makes sense, now knowing it's a small enough place I get why they wouldn't want extra bodies in different rooms. If she's still set on getting inside pictures, I guess she could just search the internet or ask the staff before our vacation. Thanks for all the info.

Don't let her be upset at all.
While the answer may well be no, I'd ask at the podium. It can't hurt. Worse that happens, they say no. Best, they say yes.
Also, check over at the store and see if you can take a photo or two in the set used for the BBB photo shoots, if no one else is using it at the time.
Just don't take photos of the kids if you go in.
Personally, if my DGD was around, we welcome you to come in and take a photo of her. It wouldn't bother us in the slightest. Photos don't harm kids at all. Who knows, we do go in Oct, maybe we'll be there next year too.

You're very kind, my daughter is thankful for the kind words! It's not that we'd intentionally take pictures of other peoples kids, never! But that's some sound information, I'll let her know :lovestruc
