Hi, I have reservations for my 3 1/2 year old daugher to get the crown package (hair, make up and nails) at this Disney boutique and then we were going to go to the Princess Story Book Dinner at Epcot. However, I was looking for feedback from other parents about their experiences and if you think it's worth the money or do you think my daughter's too young?

I swear I am not stalking you!! LoL (I answered another thread of yours.) My DD will be 4 in June, though, and we just were in WDW in Feb, so I can relate. :)

Anyway, I booked the hair/makeup only for my DD in Feb, and ended up having it done AGAIN!

Here she is:

Makeover #1, I bought the dress separately and she made the wand at World of Disney while we waited for her turn at the Boutique:

She had a blast and loved it. We are going in September for the Halloween Party and I have her booked for that day. She wanted to go back.

Thanks so much for the tip! You're daughter looked like an absolute doll! How fun!! :yay:

One more tip...bring tissues. They keep them turned away from the mirror until they are finished, then kind of do a "ta da!!!" and turn them around. The look on DD's face had me in tears. She was just awed. :)

She will LOVE it. We are planning on going again and this time having our 3 year old done also along with her 5 year old sister! In my sig photo from last year, my dd was 4 and LOVED every moment of it!

I agree, every little girl that was there when we were had a great time and there was a wide age range of kids. My DD thought it was the highlight of her trip. Have fun.

My DD loved it- she is not really into Princesses and frilly stuff, so she got the Pop Princess look. It was so cute!!

The only advice I have is that you might want to do the Coach pkg instead of the Crown one. The "nails" are press on ones that pop right off (or they put on one coat of pale polish). I'd rather give DD a manicure myself than pay $10 for press on nails or one coat of pale polish. JMO, of course!

We are doing the same exact thing! Our DD will be 4 at the end of this month. I showed her the clip on the WDW site of BBB and she is SOOOOOO excited to go now! princess:

This sounds like such a great thing to do with DD's on their first trip to Disney! We are doing lunch in Epcot at Akershus. We have a reservation for 12:55. Do you think timing would work out to bring them to BBB before the lunch? I'm not sure about getting around Disney timing wise or what time BBB is open. Any thoughts?

My 3 1/2 year old LOVED it last year, and is doing it again this Sept...ON her birthday. The really crazy thing is, she has me and her Aunt talked into doing it with her! UGH!! Trying to figure out how to get myself out of that one!!! So, if you are there on Sept 25 and see 2 grown women all decked out...stop us and say hi :rotfl2: It should be quite a site!! Take your daughter!! She will LOVE it!!!!!!!!! :cutie:

My DD's 7 & 3 then loved it last year we did the Castle Package and then took them to MNSSHP. They loved having their hair and makeup done, and picking out their costumes, and how all the CM's at the Magic Kingdom called them princess LOL.

Glitzybabes- Thanks for posting the link.

2Princes2Princesses & MommaPooh217- We would like to see your photos added if interested.

Mermaidmom1- Your DD is definitely not to young take her and have a great time. I don't think I have seen one post that has not been a good expierence. I think everyone's dd truly feels like a princess when the do this and you can also have it done if you would like.

I am planning on taking my girls before we celebrate my youngest DD's 7th bday at the CInderella's Gala Feast. We have a 5:00 ADR does anyone know what time I should make their appointment so we have enough time to get to dinner without rushing? This is our first trip so I have no clue how long it takes to get around.

I would make a ressie for 3pm. It only takes about 35-45 mins but both times that I have gone they were running behind plus it will allow you enough time to ride the bus to GF and arrive a little early. Have a great trip.

I am trying to decide if the castle package (the one with the costumes) is worth it. I have that one booked for our upcoming trip. My DDs will be 3 & 5. I don't mind spending the money since this trip is for their birthday, but I am just wondering if it's the right way to go.

I read somewhere else(now I can't find the post) that after the hair, make-up & nails then the girls pick out the outfits and that they staff just pointed them in the right direction and the parents did the rest. Is this how it works? I am concered that the hair will get messed up if they are trying on outfits after they get their hair done. Also, not to sound snotty, but for $175+ I guess I would expect a little more pampering than just pointing to the outfits.

I am considering changing to the middle package and letting the girls pick out outfits at the Disney store before we go. I have a 15% off coupon for next week.

Your experiences/thoughts are appreciated.

When we did the castle package they asked us if we knew which dress we wanted and we told them Cinderella's Wedding Dress So they brought us in sat DD in the chair got her costume ready and while they started her hair we went into the dressing room and changed into the dress after they steamed the wrinkles out and had the shoes she needed and accesories we went back to the chair put on her makeup and went of to take pics. We did take a little longer w/ our dress b/c we originally told them one size and then decided we need a bigger size. It really wasn't bad imho.

This is my truely honest opinion about the castle package. If you intend to buy your dd a costume in disney by all means do the castle pack it turns into a one stop shop and we even enjoyed the photo package that we got as well as all of the picks on our photopass.

You don't have to get the castle pack just to do a photo package you can also get it if you bring you own dress or no dress at all.

If you can get one of the first appts. that day, it would be awesome. We had ours done before going to CRT and then DD spent the day in costume. It was so much fun!

Have fun!

Do you think it will be too hot for the princess costumes in June? My two daughters(8 & 5) have appointments at BBB and I cant decide about costumes.
