Yeah, thank you for posting this, I am so excited and can't wait to do this in Dec., hope they have a special Christmas hair do. :goodvibes

i wonder how strict they will be in regards to the minimum age of 3? my dd will be 3 a week AFTER our trip to DL. in other words she'll be 2 years and 349 days old. LOL!....but i know she would just LOVE to do this! she is soooo into the princesses right now!

I think she's probably close enough. :) Seriously make a ressie for her, I bet she'd love it!!! Now, my question, will they do hair & makeup on an adult....I want to do this for ME! LOL Seriously, I want to do this with my girls and I but if they won't do adults I'll just get us all face painting done instead. :)

The way it's worded, I think they'll be fine with letting you get your hair styled. Obviously, you wouldn't be able to get the Princess Dress and Shoes (unless you can somehow fit into children's sizes), but other than that, you shouldn't have any problems.

As to doing with someone just shy of 3 years, I believe there are liability issues with that (cosemtology licensing laws and whatnot), so they may be fairly strict on the matter. You can check with the Style Hotline, and they'll be able to clarify.

:lmao: I definitely wouldn't be doing shoes or dresses! :rotfl2: But I wouldn't do that part for my girls either, I just want my hair done really. :) And I want my face painted too, I love that stuff. I do Henna tattoos on myself all the time. LOL

My kids are going to love this!! Can someone please answer me this question before I make reservations? I want to do the BBB and then walk over to DCA for a princess lunch at AG. How long of a walk is it from DL to DCA? I want to get the timing right. Thank you!

It is through the castle and across the drawbridge then up Main Street then around the train station via the tunnels on either side then on to the front gate then across the Esplanade to DCA entrance then up to Sunshine Plaza and around the mountain then up the boardwalk. I would guess 20 minutes. I use an ECV and thus cannot say for sure.

Crowds and idiots and other delays can happen. Like I go through the wide gate and had to stop at an exit because the CM could not get people to understand that only things that do not fit in turnstiles use the wide gate. I have had to wait as a herd of Asian tourists went by in the Esplanade. There are people who walk 8 abreast slowly. Final answer is 20 minutes minimum.

I agree with mechurchlady, it's definitely going to be at least 20 min. I'd actually figure probably 30 min so you can be sure to have time to wait in line to get into DCA.

Also if you allow an hour then you could do the bakery tour or some rides in Bug's Land for example. Stop by the Blue Sky Cellar. Also even if you have a set time for Ariel you do want to get there early enough so you are first to see Ariel. When I was last there I was first but had to use the elevator. By the time I got out of the elevator it was a 10 minute wait but I got seated quickly as I was not meeting and greeting Ariel. There was a line on the stairs and each group got to meet and greet Ariel and do photos so you should be there early and then the kid can colour, take in the view, read the menu and set out your autograph book and pen.:bride:

How exciting, we were at WDW in Feb and did the cool dude hairstyle. Now were heading to DL in May was wondering if they did anything like that for boys there! He will be excited to get a shield and sword!

Yaaaaayyy!!!!

I just made DD a reservation for May 12th! We are doing the Crown package and will bring our own dress.

The CM told me it will take about 20 minutes to do the whole thing! Wow - they are going to be quick!

Thanks for the walk info! I made BBB reservations at 10:00am and 10:10am for the kids. DL opens that day at 10 so we'll just have to hustle straight there. I made 12:50 lunch reservations at AG. That should give us plenty of time and the kids will be beautiful for the whole day. :)

Make sure you are there earlier than opening as sometimes they have a rope drop and that would put you closer to the front area.
