Is BG doable in one day? It's probably been 20 yrs since I was there and I don't remember how big it was. This trip will be me, Dh, Ds12, and Dd10, both kids like rides so that will be number one priority I think.

depends when you go during non-peak times any park is doable in a day and 100x more enjoyable, during peak times good luck went once in april and once in august did more in 1 days in feb than 14 days combined in 2 trips and i didnt have people that were soaked with sweat rubbing against me.

In feb I would sometimes ride a coaster all by myself guess thats what keeps me going back at this time sometimes looking down streets and not seeing a single person feels like you have the whole theme park to yourself.

I agree,it just depends on when you go,a peak or non-peak time.If you want to do every coaster, show and attraction and maybe a couple of coasters multiple times during the summer, spring break or around a holiday you probably need 2 days, especially with another coaster just added to it's roster. The park is very big with a lot of walking, although there is the skyride and train that you can use as transportation between the park.I first went to the park around 20 years ago and from that time the park has become a full fledged major theme park, back then I remember the only coasters were Python and scorpion, they had the questor simulator,a dolphin show, a couple of flat rides and the transportation rides. Now with so many more coasters, new animal exhibits and new attractions the park gets a lot more visitors, especially during busy times and weekends, but like a previous poster said,if you show up a Tuesday in late January or early February you can ride as much as you want as the park will be pretty empty, this wouldn't be the case if it was in Orlando which has enough year round visitors to decently fill up parks on even the slowest times.

I would look at this as " Is BG a 2 day park? "

The obvious answer is no.

If you go there, you use the whole day. With travel time, you spend the whole day. You really can't park hop from BG.

Do what. You can in a day and enjoy. There is a lot to see there at BG.

We're looking at first week in Oct, so I'm guessing it should be less crowded right?

Another question. For those that have gone in Oct, do I need to buy a front of the line pass? Kinda sounds like I don't.

we went at a supposedly busy time- Spring Break- it wasn't busy at all- we didn't wait for anything- wrote all the big coasters many times. Loved BG!
