BF Lines at Staples

Has anyone ever done the opening at Staples on Friday?

In our town Staples is at the opposite end of town from the mall, Target, Best Buy, etc. I was wondering if maybe it wouldn't be as crazy.

Past years I got deals in Staples around 9:30a. After the people waiting for hours bought what they wanted and left.

You won't get the laptop that's available in limited quantities. Maybe half the doorbusters were still available. Items like external hard drive, mice, UPS....

Staples sometimes lies. Some of the stuff that's not suppose to be available online winds up being available.

Ours is usually crazier than Best Buy! People camp out for hours and hours.

One of ours gets crazy immediately with waiting in line for an hour easily. The other one is not near a lot of other stores. A couple of years ago DD and I were in and out of there in 15 minutes. We just grabbed the biggest items and bailed before they got backed up.

Mmmm.... we were shooting for external hard drive and office chairs.

Maybe I'll just order the hardrive online, and go right at opening and if the chairs are still available great, if not, go out for breakfast since we're out and about!

Sounds like it's going to be cold, messy weather here Friday morning so it's not worth it to me to stand in line that long.
