BF at Myrtle Beach, SC

Well, I'm male, so I never BF shopped, but I have GF shopped when I was younger. There was a smokin hot 17 year old at the hotel next to us when I was there at 16 and it turned out she lived about 45 minutes away as well. Met her a few times after we got home from vacation....

Oh, by BF shopping you didn't mean "boy friend" shopping so my "girl friend" shopping doesn't count?

See what happens when everyone in an internet discussion board abbreviates everything they possibly can? The abbreviations end up with possibilities of being 20 different things. I read the title as your boy friend was at Myrtle Beach, and since I love Myrtle Beach, I opened it.....

All these abbreviations are starting to drive me crazy. I need an acronym dictionary and thesaurus in front of me to read posts anymore.

If you mean Black Friday, then it's insanely busy at the outlets off US 17. Last year they were open at Midnight on the 26th, and closed at 10 pm. It was INSANE. We were there for a cheap vacation before a family member deployed, stayed at the Coral Reef and it was almost full. The Broadway at the Beach area didn't have much on sale.

What is BF shopped?
Black friday

Yes that is what I mean, and thank you, that is what I am afraid of. My favorite places to hit are walmart and target and I fear as bad as they are on a normal day, I can't imagine BF

Black Friday

:thumbsup2Thank you

Walmart and Target haven't been to the ones in MB, but the ones up here are HEdoublehockeysticks on Black Friday. They start sales around 4 am for Walmart, and about 5 or 6 am for Target and there is over 200 people waiting at the doors before they open. They hand out these "doorbusters" that if you're the first of lets say 50, you get a really low price on a TV, or whatever item it is they're discounting. It usually results in people running kids over, and getting into petty fights over who got there first and whatnot.

Black Friday in Myrtle Beach is exactly what kirrrby described. We have tried shopping on that day at various times, and finally gave it up two years ago, deciding NO bargain was worth the time and effort spent trying to get in the stores. (BTW, we live in Murrells Inlet, just south of MB.)

That makes me sad :guilty:

We LOVE Black Friday shopping - hubs is testing for MB fire department next month. IF he would get hired and IF we would move I'd hate to give up my BF shopping!

I loved this response! I'm always lost on the boards w/acronyms too!

We have BF shopping for years in Myrtle Beach. We stay at a campground and you will see the others leaving at the same wee hour of the morning, Everyone waves at each other when leaving because we are all going shopping. Kohl's is great. The Chic Filet cow shows up some years and hands out free biscuit coupons. Some years it is warm and no coat is needed and some years you freeze. I always get a local paper the day before and map out my route. Last year we left before midnight and went to Walmart and made our rounds. Circle K had a hot drink special for 25 cents a cup. Hot coffee or chocolate in the middle of the night was wonderful. We ended our trip at Sam's as they give customers a free breakfast that shop there. We always have a good time. There are all the major stores there.Have fun and go shopping!!!! I will be there!!!!
