Just to let you all know, my brother Scooterjake was just banned for 24 hours.
WHY????????
He HUGGED A FRIEND that came in to the room that he hadnt seen in a long time.

NOTHING that would make parents blush, nothing, just a friendly, innocent hug and hes banned!!!

How pathetic its getting.

ouch! I know its only a 24 hour ban, but he should write in anyways to have it removed from his record. I hope that was just an auto ban and a mistake.

Ouch is right over a hug. and scammers are walking around cheating ppl. Bad thing.......he tried to get on another character on his computer and cant. I tried mine to and cant so if I dc im outta luck until his ban is over. Looks like they snatched our ip.

And yes it is kind of unfair especially since it says its a character ban but yet Rob can't get any of his other characters on and neither can I so its more than a character ban.

My feeling is it was not the hug that caused the ban.. it was something that was said even up to a few weeks ago.

He needs to use contact us and see what they say...

VMK needs to let kids know exactly why they are banned at the time of banning.

Before you all stop giving out hugs, its ok to give them and you won't get banned, we just asked Hula. But hopefully they will see its a mistake that they banned Scooter for giving hugs and clear his name.

Ok well Im not sure what happened but Host Hula found us on the dock and said that a hug is not against values. There must have been another trigger word with the hug as the friend scooter hugged hasnt been on in ages so it had to be from that moment. Plus our computers got banned. Scooter cant get on at all, and if I dc Im done for for the nite.

BUT Hula said its ok to hug ppl, and heres the pic to prove it.

I dont think it was for something that happened up to a few weeks ago. It was for this incident bc my friend got a 24 hour ban also.

She has not been on vmk hardly at all since her graduation back in April. I had not seen her in vmk since early June. When she came on I went to her room and said to her "hi rabbit!! hugs and more hugs" and she said to me "and many more hugs back" I made a statement to her about the churro cart she had bought and she said something about now she needed to earn some credits and then we were both gone. The message came up that I had been banned for an adult behavior or something like that. Since we both got it at the same time I am sure it was for this conversation. If it would be a month long ban I would fight it and I did write to contact us to try and clear my record. I can survive without vmk for 24 hours but its just the principle that now we have to be careful how we hug even if it is allowed.

Nice thinking bearz. Scooter, she has the best advice. First make sure you got banned for what you think you did. Use the contact us and choose "I think I am banned". See what they have to say.

If it would have been from something that happened yesterday or two weeks ago or a month ago both rabbit and I would not have gotten the same exact ban at the same exact time. It had to be for our conversation. I did contact them and tell them I think it was an unfair ban.

Everyone is always dictionary dancing, it could have been brought to the attention of those who screen for this stuff. Or something else that you typed that was combined with that?
