Beware: Price of GF Gingerbread

I guess I should've expected this, but was still surprised when I bought gingerbread at the GB house in GF. We bought two bags of shingles and 4 small gingerbread men and the total came to $28 something

The shingles were $6.00 a pack. Now they will be special when we have them at x-mas time and remember our first WDW trip over the holidays, but it does seem a bit spendy even for them! I bought a gb man for my parents because they love gb cookies, but for as small and thin as they were, I'm not sure if they were worth it. We haven't eaten ours yet so I can't report on the taste!

Don't know where the other thread went but they posted the menu. They had the snowman last year, too. My friend and I had hysterics and almost forgot to buy gingerbread. The gal behind the counter was not amused.

The shingles I bought were pretty good. They had a layer of chocolate on the back. I agree they were expensive, but I couldn't resist.

I popped over to the GF on 12/23 and learned of some sad news!
According to the menu for the gingerbread house, the chocolate snowman no longer has his chocolate balls. He is now served with chocolate truffles.
I'm trying to find out if at the end of the season, the castrati (or is that pastrati?) will now be able to sing with the General Foods International Coffees Cafe Vienna Boys Choir.
