Beware-Bad Disney Visa Change in Policy

For those of you who had their February payments mis-applied among your Promo Balances, how did your March statement turn out?

They applied my Feb 15 payment as follows:
1 - current purchases (which are paid in full every month);
2 - Mar 21 expiration Promo balance; and
3 - Feb 21 expiration Promo Balance.
This left an unpaid balance on the Feb 21 expiration Promo Balance. I was worried that they would begin to charge me interest on that unpaid balance so I paid off my entire balance immediately on March 6th.

I received my March stmt this Monday and thankfully I was not charged any interest. However, I don't know if this is because I paid off the entire balance or if they re-applied my Feb pmt?

Essentially the same with mine. They paid off current charges, then the entire June promo balance, but left the March promo with a balance due. I paid the remaining balance off online as soon as I got the statement, and I haven't used the card since...

Ok.. So I was charged Interest for my 2 remaining promo's that were due 3/20. When I called and was directed to ask for a supervisor. The supervisor credited me for the interest I was charged and said it is taking them at least 2 statements to fix the situation, so things should now be correct moving forward.

I have Disney vacation promo's for 3/20, 4/20, 5/20 and 7/20. My 4/20 and 5/20 are still showing as paid off and my 2 3/20 are not and that is why I owed interest.

I am hoping that this finally gets resolved as the supervisor indicated.

Good to hear!!!:yay:
Perhaps I'll go back to using this card again?
Problem is, we were all getting such conflicting information and I didn't know WHAT was going on for an entire month.:sad2:

It looks as if mine is fixed. I do not see where any interest was charged and no longer show my 2/22 balance. I paid about $400 over my last payment due and it was credited to my balance due 6/22. I had already charged more on the card at that time so wasn't sure how it would applied (if it would just go to my daily purchases). Doesn't look like it and looks as if all is back to normal. I'll just keep watching.

We pay full balance every month, except for vacations (both deposits and balances).

What I noticed is every month I do some type of return, this credit is flagged on one of my 0% balances, reducing this amount, and hence having to pay 'more' per month.

Since typically the returns are $10-$30, no big deal, but annoying that I have to review the staement and deduct the balance due on these promo transactions from the total balance, before writing a check (a figure or speach - I pay online).

After we put a deposit for a bounceback, I noticed the credits were going towards the deposit 0% instead of our last stay's 0%...

Good news (sort of) we finally got a letter from Chase acknowledging the there is a problem, but still have to wait until they "research" it to find out what the cause is.

Hopefully, no one has beeen burned by this in the two+ months it has taken them to realize they "sc@@@ed" up.
