Beverages:.. checked luggage or carry on.

We are bringing some canned beverages and taking them on the plane. I checked with SW and this is OK, what I forgot to ask is should I put them in checked luggage or carry on???

Does anyone know??

Any beverage bottles should be carried onto the aircraft and carried in to the ship.
