Beverage ???

We are new to the DDP. I know a beverage is included and that it is non-alcoholic. Is it any other type of beverage? Can it be cappucino or a fresh squeezed lemonade? Or is it limited to fountain drinks and plain coffee/tea?

Also one other ? Can you take the dessert "to go"?

Yes, you can take the dessert to go.

I hate this answer...but it totally depends on the restaurant (and probably even the server) which non-alcoholic drinks you can get. We got smoothies at Kona and GF Cafe for the kids for their drinks, and a slurpee like drink at Coral Reef for them. They did mention that if those types of drinks are chosen, they are NOT refillable whereas sodas, etc are. In other restaurants, only sodas and milk were included in the plan.

It just depends.

I agree with ReneeA, the answer totally depends on the restraurant. You'll find that one place will let you do something, then the next place will. All you can do is ask when you arrive and the server will tell you the limitations. I do know that the drink with the light up cube/character is NEVER included.

Thanks for your replies. I know my DH and I like to have a glass of wine with dinner so the beverage would be a waste if it was just soda but I would have a coffee with dessert. I guess I"ll have to ask at each restaurant.

When we were at 1900 Park Fair for Breakfast. Our Server didn't know that we were on DDP until the end. She encouraged us to order a smoothie or speciality coffee drink to go, she said they were included. So you never know.

Tony's at MK: Last September, was not allowed to have a coffee as my beverage.. and that was the only restaurant that gave us a hard time. Ended up having a glass of milk as I don't drink soda much. Every other place allowed coffee or tea as a beverage.

we've been able to get milkshakes as our drink at:
50;s primetime & whispering canyon'

In jan, at sci-fi we had to use it as our dessert

Milkshakes, lemonade, smoothies i'm pretty sure are all included some restaurants have specialty drinks such as "Pirate's Punch" which comes with a glow figurine on the cup and it is included
