littleprissboutique said:I do discipline Kaylee in public, just not on a plane. It is small, crowded, and her crying is very loud. So, I try to keep everyone else's ears and nerves in mind. Plus I dont want to be kicked of the flight...She will hopefully understand about her milk. I will try to get her a script..LOL dont know how that will work... I hope I can just pop her some phenogran gel on her wrist and she will be off to lala land ( hope her sleepkitty/lovie soothes and will help take the place of her milk ) I may try a back up plan. Usually we get to preboard, maybe a FA will give her a small bottle of water at preboard.... I hope so. If not maybe I will take a lollipop. She does not get them that often, and this may excite her enough to get her mind off her milk....![]()
As I said before, I have NO doubt you are an excellent parent.
As a pax who listens to a lot of children crying, I would far rather hear a cry from a child who is being disciplined than one who is just having a hissy fit.
I doubt you will ever be kicked off a flight, I have heard some TERRIBLE crying/screaming over the years and no move was made to remove the kids or have the parents do something other than gaze like contented cows. ( I doubt you do that). What is phenogran? I know that Orange Triaminic knocks them out.

The powdered milk idea was GREAT, maybe you could do that and toss a little Nestles Quick in the mix. Make it a real treat.
I am sure you will figure this out, and who knows, perhaps by the time you fly these restrictions will be lifted.
Happy planning.
