I had read a while ago the values were going to get beverage coolers. Does anyone know when/if this is happening?

WDW Value resorts will ALL have free refrigerators in the rooms by the end of April 2012!

1) GF has the new "beverage coolers".
. . . they are slight;y larger than college fridges
. . . three wire shelves
. . . can and bottle holders on door
. . . will hold a milk jug
. . . has no freezer compartment
2) Did keep things very cold
. . . we put a jar of ice in the fridge
. . . it increased the cooling ability
. . . one pop can actually became slushy-ish
. . . although not frozen, ti was plenty cold

That is not a beverage cooler, that is a fridge. There is a distinct difference. I have specified them on projects before.
1) I will trust your judgment.
2) However, the waiter described this as a beverage cooler. *
* The waiter brought a "gift" from the General Manager, and
asked if he should put it into the Beverage Cooler. I guess this
could have been a colloquialism and not a true description.
