Betty White to host SNL

So excited about this! I love Betty White. This will be the first time in about 5 years that I actually watch SNL.

Same here, except I did watch about a month ago because I wanted to see the musical guest. That was the first time I'd watched in probably a decade or more. Judging by the episode I saw, I wasn't missing much.

I heard this on the morning radio station I listen to (it was a few weeks ago when they were talking about the Facebook page).

Rue Mclanahan was in the hospital after having a stroke recently. Betty sent her a note that said "Will you hurry up and die already so I can be the last Golden Girl?"
She has an amazing sense of humor. I bet Rue got a big kick out of that

I think you mean Lorne Michaels (the creator and executive producer of Saturday Night Live)? Lorne Green was the actor known for "Bonanza" and for the original "Battlestar Galactica" TV series.

I had read somewhere that they were worried that she wouldnt' be able to do the entire show alone because of her age and were going to have a bunch of other women as co-hosts. I couldn't find anything about this with her for the show in May.
I hope she doesn't have to share, I think she has the energy to carry the show on her own.
I can't wait for her monologue. I am sure she will drop a few "F" bombs. she has such a dirty mouth. Isn't it funny that we think it's hilarious to see someone her age, or someone under 5 using those words and we laugh, but anyone between 6 and 60 it's just disgusting.
Hoping she gets to spoof all her characters, including her time on her husband's "Password" show.
