Does anyone collect and use them? :confused3 I have kept them for a while now and was wanting to use them when they had the “get so many points and get free stuff”. Well I can’t find the “Free” stuff with your points, All I see is free shipping. Am I looking in the wrong place? :confused3 Is it worth collecting these points anymore?:confused3

What do You do?:flower1:

Good question, I too have a gazillion points! I've never ordered anything because I can usually buy the same or very similar items cheaper at the store. It sure it not what it used to be when my mom got me a whole set of flatware for dirt cheap with points!

I stopped collecting years ago. I would love too know if other actually find a deal too.

I had a catalog a few months back where only the prices were listed, not the point values for an item (like in the past). They had an offer for free shipping with like 200 points, and a few items tha if you bought them youincluded x amount of points but that was it. I don't see the point to collecting anymore as you have to buy the item instead of redeeming your points for it.

I quit saving these points a few years ago because I never found any use for them. Just like Amyg said, I can always find a better deal somewhere else - rather than buy it from Better Crocker - and - have to ship in points. I still have a gozillian points - just incase, though :confused3

I also have a bunch of Kraft mac 'n cheese points and koolaid points, just incase they come up with something worth having

For all those who have quit collecting would you mind donating the box tops? My local Y is having a drive for the box tops. I dont know what they use it for but if anyone here can donate a few they can mail those to me. My Y would really appreciate it.

When my son was in elementary school, they collected Box Tops for Education. They are worth $.10 each to the school when turned in.

The Betty Crocker Points and the BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION tops are two very different things one can't be used in place of the other. I am the coordinator for the BT$E program at my daughter's school and I send out letters to the parents (two to three times a year) with the example of what the BT4E looks like and what they need to send in to school. I get way more Betty Crocker points some weeks than the BT$E which is really a shame because obviously someone is taking the time to meticulously cut the Betty Crocker Points out but they can't be used for the school program. Obviously not taking the time to read the informational letters I send home though... Oh well...

I haven't seen a Betty Crocker Catalog for years and I remember that the prices weren't all that great at that time either. I am pretty surprised that they still continue the program actually.

Yep, it seems like every time I help in DD's class and empty out folders I get a few folks who sent in BC points instead of box tops for ed.

Since we have a coordinator right here... What about the whole grain symbol? I think we're supposed to be sending those in now too.
Is that the same program as the box tops?

That was a promotion that they were doing but it appears to be over. Our school didn't do it where we are so small it wasn't worth the time. I believe it was geared more like a sweepstakes or drawing for extra Box Tops credit.

We do Box Tops here too. I just sent in over $53.00 worth into school today. :teeth: Yep, dollars worth. They sent a note home saying the mom in charge needed to send them in at the end of the month to get credit. Apparently she can only send on two times a year.

I sent in over $150.00 worth the beginning of the school year. Couponing does have it perks! :thumbsup2
