Betting in Pirates

I have noticed that in the pirates lobby there has been a lot of betting, ' If i beat you in pirates i get your this if you beat me you get my this ' Just as a safety reminder, that's against the VMK values. Betting is an adult subject, and it's also a good way to get scammed, you may beat them and they may not end up in the same lobby as you. Just a reminder to all, keep yourself and your items safe

I am not really sure that betting is against VMK values.

I do not think that is what they had in mind when they said adult situations.

Seems like a fun, harmless past time.

I agree with you about scams but if you confine your betting between friends and for items of like or equal value, I personally do not see anything wrong with it and I would venture to say VMK feels the same way.

Of course with all things everyone is entitled to his or her own opinions.

I would tend to agree. I do wonder if VMK staff would find that almost like a pay to play?

This Happened to me today someone came up to me and said hey ace what to bet? I have lots of magic of course i dont really like to gamble and i doubt the person would have gave me anything if i won so i always say no thank you and other players were getting angry with the player and saying: " just give up "

I remember saying the same thing about taken, doggies, bay be and all that other junk. It will continue until and unless vmk bans it.

i think it is like pay to play too much. A old friend of mine, who stole my stuff, then was my friend and is now not my friend won a stitch hat in a game of pirates in a game for his green teacup.
