Better to take car or bus to parks?

We will be staying onsite at All Star Movies during our trip in Jan. Is it better to drive your car to the parks or take the bus? Last time we went we flew so we had to take the bus and it seemed like we spent a lot of time waiting for it. Any info will be appreciated.

No matter which resort we stay at, we generally only take the bus to the MK.

Normally, I would've said take the bus (WDW Transportation), but if you have 2 kids and strollers the car works best, unless you are doing the resort boats to the park, or monorail only to the parks. You have to fold the strollers up on the buses, but not the boats (most) or the monorail.

I am in agreement with DVC Don. I like to drive to all the parks with the exception of MK. If we see the bus coming for a different park and we are at the bus stop we just hop and and go, otherwise we drive.

You'll save considerable time by taking the bus to the MK. Otherwise, a car is really handy.

Another vote here for only busing it to the MK. We drive to all of the other parks - it seems a lot quicker & more convenient. There IS something about riding the buses, though, that really makes us feel like we're there - so if time isn't an always an issue, you might want to hop on one or two!

Another vote here for doing your own driving. You'll save a lot of time and aggravation not waiting for buses or shoving onto crowded buses. Plus you can more easily move around property and have seat belts and car seats for safety.
