I have a 88 points left(Feb use year) for this year and wanted to know if I should look to rent those points in June when I close on my BCV or bank those points and rent them next year? I'm looking to rent those 88 points along with 150 I will get next year and then use that money towards DCL.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Why don't you rent them all this year? You can borrow the 150 pts from next year and rent them right away. That way you would have money in hand for DCL.

I agree that you should keep the points you are going to rent all in the same use year. It gives your buyers more options. So, either bank the 88 or borrow the 150. Which one you do depends on when you need the $$ for DCL. If you borrow, you might want to set aside the maintenance for next year's points from your proceeds.

See'in how I'm toooo lazy to research it myself, I'll just ask.

If you rent the 238 pts for the elusive $10.00 pp, is $2380.00 cash for DCL better then using points ? If cash is the better value, what is the break even $$ pp before Points become the better way to go ?

But what happens if you can't get anyone to rent your points or you wind up renting them for $5 a point instead of $10 a point? Or can only rent a portion of them? Just food for thought. I'd bank 'em and use them myself.
