Better than Visa Magic Code?

My co-worker went to MCO last Thursday used the *67* code
when she went to go out the gates the girl asked her if she knew her code was for travel solutions.. She said I didn't do my ressies a friend did, so I have no clue what they used.. and she let her go. They added the prepay gas to the car for $60.00 and said that is was such a waste - they didn't use the much gas and could of filled up for less.

Just got back from a quick trip to Orlando - Used the 67 code without a hitch. Walked into the lot, was directed to the cars available, picked a nice Avenger, drove to the check out lane, gave them my license, she handed me my receipt and off I went. Returned the car, just as easy. Nothing to worry about! I used the 67 code with a $15 off weekend rental coupon. Friday to Monday cost me $70.00 total.

I have to say I was a little worried and had a back up Alamo rental reserved just in case, but thankfully, everything was just fine.

Was your coupon from National's website? I have a Costco $25 coupon but wasn't sure if they allow you to mix codes/coupons. I know Alamo doesn't mind but I've only used National once before.
The $30 coupon on National's website expires 6/30/08 so it seems it's geared for last minute travelers. You would think by now they'd extend the exp. date a little.

We don't do the prepay, they charge too much. We fill up at the Hess stations inside Disney before returning the car, it's much cheaper. Just don't forget to do so because it's very expensive if you forget and they have do it. Linda :)

Book months ago with "87" code and $20.00 printed paper coupon, Aug 15 - 26 for $515.00. Thought that was great.

Just did the "67" code with ND2119071Q ecoupon (don't know how to use an ecoupon or what it is...but) for the same dates and got it for $297.07

Awesome Right! Didn't cancel the reservation for $515, holding both because...

there has to be a catch? It's almost too good to be true... What is it?
What will I need to show at the gate?

I think the catch is the insurance. I don't think anybody's too sure on what happens with the insurance if you damage the car. Who covers what if they find out you weren't supposed to use that code? I don't have the answers and that's about the only thing preventing me from using the amazing code.

:(

I've been following this thread from the beginning and I do not recall anyone picking up at the Dolphin so far. Keep watching as I imagine someone will eventually post when they use the code there.

I just did this at the Dolphin from 6/2 - 6/9 with the '57' code and the $35. coupon; absolutely no problem. :goodvibes I booked a compact for a total of $79. and was upgraded to a fullsize - Malibu. I am confident enough to use this code again in December with a friend. :thumbsup2

Does anybody have a link to the 30 dollars off coupon? I got the discount but now I don't remember where I saw it. If I can print it I would like to.

thank you

When I called my insurance co to ask this she said that basically having both makes me "doubly" insured as my personal policy has rental coverage on it. SO basically if something happened and they wouldn't honour the 67 code insurance than I have my personal insurance to cover me.

I feel prety safe using this code...I got $330 for 14 days for a minivan....wicked deal! Even the reservation agent that I dealt with on the phone said so!!! ;)

Hmmmm...

OK...I just reserved a mini van in Los Angeles and it was way cheaper than the full size that I have a reservation for. I'm keeping the two reservations until closer to the date.... in case there are some complications yet to be seen. I haven't done this for my Florida trip in September yet.... the California one was the more expensive of the two rentals so let's try this first I guess. Anybody try this in LAX?

I started this long thread in April because of my mistake in transposing a number when reserving for a long weekend. I am just reporting in again to let you know that friends just returned from a 5 day rental in Tampa using the
"67" code with no questions asked. :thumbsup2

I am officially done with this 67 code. Why? Because I just plugged in my BJ's contract number instead with the $30 coupon and the price came down $10. :yay: I know I've tried this code before and it wasn't that good but now I'm so happy I have a great price and have no issues to worry about. My dates are June 27-July 5 (9 days) and I now have a full size reserved for $181.:woohoo:

Thanks, but that code did nothing for me, Aug 7 to the 17, midsize with one free day coupon from ent. book, total $499.52
I have a ressie, with the 57 code, minivan for $275

another renter here that used the 67 code and the 35.00 coupon in mco last week (6/3-6/10) Emerald Aisle mid size pick up, got a Dodge Avenger, 92.07 was the total :cool1:

Ok..had the 67 code booked and got a great price for 4 days $116 for full size. Yesterday just for the heck of it I booked a full 7 days and added the coupon cost went down to $97 dollars.....we are at a convention off property for the first 4 days and then move to DVC for the next 6 days....didn't even think about a car for those days...now we will have a car and save $20 for 3 additional days...

BFF used the 67 code this week out of O'Hare, no problems. She used the counter, no questions asked. Was able to use Emerald Aisle as she signed up for membership later.:cool1:
