We are trying to pick the best time to go with the smallest crowds. Do you think November 20-23 sounds okay or should we shoot for the week before that? Thanksgiving is on the 27th. We could also come in at the end of a weekend and visit the park during the first half of the week. We're just so uncertain but need to get it booked. Thanks for any input.

if you can do monday thru wednesday, i'm thinking nov 17-19 (or 20th) would be your best bet. the week before that has veteran's day and the week after that is thanksgiving week. mondays are pretty safe if it's not part of a long holiday weekend.

Less crowds would probably be Monday-Wednesday (but NOT Monday the 10th because it's a day off for a lot of people.)

However, the benefit of going to the park on Wednesday-Friday is that on Friday the park is open later and you can see the fireworks and parade.

I'd go for the Wed-Fri. It'll be a little more crowded on Friday, but the parks will also be open later and will offer more shows, etc., to attend. I think I also read once that statistically Thursdays are the least crowded days at DL. I've noticed that's true when I've been there--can't figure out WHY...

We are going the 19-23. that way, we get low crowds when we arrive Wednesday afternoon and on Thursday. Then the holiday season kicks off on Friday, with the parade and fireworks, etc. Friday and Saturday will definitely be more crowded, but with longer hours.

Thats out plan too hopin the 19 & 20 are not too busy and ready for the crowd on the 21st!
