OK, granted, I'm very new to this board, but I gotta tell you, from reading these threads, I really LIKE how you guys think. It's like Monty Python meets Mickey Mouse.

Yup... :D And you should see it when we are bored...

I've never seen any cheese soup at WDW. It must be good. Where is it?

You have NEVER HAD CHEESE SOUP??? Well then the next time you are in Epcot you owe it to to yourself to go over to Canada and have a cup in Le Cellier Steakhouse.. It is very good. Really it is...:D

i'm an akershus person myself, although now that they;'re going over to sit down restaurant, I could be talked into trying LeCellier's cheese soup. I actually think I might have had it once...but it was after a day of frenzied pin buying and trading and my memory is a little hazy.

Okay.. Here is what I found...

Frank Jensen, Fredrikstad, bildade Norsk Konglige Lutefisklag 1988.

I may have spelled it wrong. I think it is an atomically unmentionable part of a Norwegian reindeer. Pickled.:jester: Hey, these little face guys are pretty fun.

UH oh Nat...your computer seems to have gonen ker floonie floonie again!:D

WOW> you really DO have a food dictionary. And a Norwegian one, at that! (All worship NH and his great knowledge of wierd food)

Okay here is what I found in english.. I .like the other one better... I am sticking to Cheese Soup...

lutefisk; lutfisk
[LOO-tuh-FIHSK]
A Scandinavian specialty made with unsalted dried COD. The age-old preparation method is to soak the dried cod in regularly changed cold water for a period of eight days. The cod is then soaked for two days in a mixture of water and potash lye, after which it's soaked for two more days in fresh water. (Thankfully, for fans of this dish, ready-to-cook lutefisk is commercially available.) The final step is simmering the fish for 10 to 15 minutes, just until it becomes translucent. Just before serving, lutefisk is sprinkled with ALLSPICE, salt and white pepper. It's accompanied with white sauce (see BÉCHAMEL) and, typically, boiled potatoes.

Luckily for you, Lutfisk is NOT the state dish in New Hampshire, although I'm thinking of starting a movement in Maine to give Lutfisk it's proper recognition. Of course, considering I didn't know the difference between reindeer **** and cod...

I don't know too many people that actually like lutefisk so you are one of the first. Of course, now we will all know you as that fish lover but there are worse things.....like cheesesouphead
