Normally I post upon return from our trips...sorry.
We went for MVMCP from Dec 19 - 23, staying at Wilderness Lodge Villas. It was the four of us (me, DH, DD9, DS7) and my BIL and DN5 joined us too (sister and new baby at home in CT).
I will not do an in-depth review as I usually do, however here are the places I can remember that we ate:
Fri., Dec 19, 2003
Dinner, Whispering Canyon
We ordered the usual, all-you-can eat skillet. Very good as usual. Pulled pork still the fave. Only complaint was we were seated way in the back away from the action (i.e. stick-pony rides) but managed to get the men to participate in the "My Little Buttercup group song/dance...very funny. Also tried for a first the banana dustbowl for dessert...YUM!
Overall rating: 8, good food, lot's of fun
Sat., Dec 20, 2003
Lunch, Brown Derby
A flawless meal as usual here. DH and I had Cobb Salads. I had coconut shrimp as appetizer, he had clams I think. BIL had Mushroom ravioli for an appetizer and I think the tuna cobb. Yum!!! Great service too.
Overall rating: 9 1/2
Dinner, 1900 Park Fare
A very very disappointing experience. Buffet food, mediocre, but about what I expected...we were going more for Cinderella for my niece. The service was just plain BAD. Our table was located in the back room and the chairs were so smashed together that I couldn't get into my seat ( it was wedged between the table and a pillar coming out from the wall). Our waitress was completely unsympathetic about this...we complained to management about this and the lack of service in general and got one of our meals deleted from the check. Character interaction rushed...
Overall rating: 5, would never return.

Dinner, Califonia Grill
My BIL's parents and brother drove up from Jupiter, FL for the day. All 9 of us went to Calif. Grill. What can I say about this place...DH and I come here all the time and adore it. We've only had one meal that was a "very good" versus "excellent". I had sushi (Calif. roll), salad w/ green goddess dressing, and the sesame crusted tuna with Fragrant Wasabi Broth and Tempura Seaweed Roll...one of the best dishes I've ever had. Sorry, but I don't remember what everyone else got. Service was great and so was the view!
Overall rating:9 1/2

Dinner, Prime Time Cafe
We love this place and come here often. I had the fried chicken and DH had the pot roast. Both were excellent for comfort foods. They came with green beens and mashed. DH and DS split a Dad's super sundae, I had a PB&J shake (my fave) and DD had a build-your-own sundae. Atmosphere and service fun as usual...
Overall rating: 8 1/2
We also had smaller meals at:
Tusker House
Ghiradelli
Wolfgang Puck Express
BoardWalk Bakery
...post any questions about these...
