So, I am super super late doing this! We have been back from our latest trip over two months now!
With Christmas and family stuff this is the first time I have bee back on the boards since before our trip.

We stayed at the DLH from Sunday 23rd November until Thursday 27th.

Highs!

Not Disney related but still a high of our trip, the Premier Inn at Folkestone, the bed was SOO comfy! Amazing!

All the staff we encountered at the DLH from the second we arrived, they were all so polite and friendly and great with our children.

Being upgraded at the DLH and being showered with pixie dust, I felt like a princess!

Being so close to the parks.

Very few waits for rides, think the longest we waited was 45 mins to meet Spiderman in the Studios.

The weather was pretty good, very little rain and not very cold at all.

Lows!

Well, low really, there was only two and that was no fault of DLP.

On our second night we planned to watch Dreams! We arrived an hour before the show and snagged a bench near the gates of Frontier Land. Now, we did this because I have a few back issues, at the moment I choose not to take advantage of the disability pass, would be admitting there is something wrong lol.
So it was around 10 mins before the start of the show, I was sat huddled up with my boys chatting and giggling, Steve was getting the camera ready to catch Dreams! when I was banged on the shoulder by a woman in her 50s I would say, grunting at me and gesturing for myself and the boys to move, I shook my head so she decided to give me a little shove whilst shouting at me , I held my ground and tried to ignore her, despite being quite intimidated, she was very large (height) and towered over me, her husband then turned up again, screaming at me and waving their disability card in my face, both of them were so close I could feel their breath on me despite me being sat down, I pointed them in the direction of the sectioned off area and they carried on trying to remove us from the bench. They only left me alone when their son, who was around my age physically moved them, apologised and took them to the roped off area, where they got themselves a seat. I was left really very shaken, it was horrible.

Had they attempted to be polite and show me the greencard in a nicer manner I probably would have given them the seat, but they were awful and really upset me. I'm sure some of you will think we should have just moved but I refused to be bullied.

Harry, our youngest son, was violently sick on the way home, it seems to be tradition for him to get sick on our last day!

So that's it, the only lows, our trip was amazing!

When we left we said we wouldn't return for a couple of years, but we are currently planning our return for December this year!! Our boys have made us promise though that will go via Eurostar, they really didn't enjoy the car trip this year.

I plan on making a start on our TR later this week!

Absolutely! Always love to hear about a trip. :) The woman trying to bully you off the bench sounds horrible - there is a perfectly good viewing area for the disability pass owners and never any excuse for rudeness. I hope you weren't too shaken to enjoy Dreams. Glad you stood your ground!

Thankfully the pixie dust at the DLH must have more than made up for that experience. What sort of upgrade did you get?

Hope your DS recovered quickly. :goodvibes

oooh pixie dust at the DLH sounds very nice indeed!
You were dead right to stand your ground with that woman. No need for that at all

Ooh pixiedusted! Tell all please! ::yes::

Glad you didn't move for that rude couple and hope they didn't upset you too much.
