Neth and I enjoyed the ride over on the monorail. He snuggled my shoulder.....
Once at the resort we head for the Marina. There is Lala and Papa, with daddy, Uncle Geoff and Brenne. Uncle Jimmie is still out playing on the water.
Everyone is hungry, but I suggest that we wait until we get to Beach Club to eat. We wait a little bit for Jimmie, then decide that dad and Uncle Geoff will wait for Jimmie while we go ahead and check in at Beach Club. They will be waiting for a while.....
We find our way over to Beach Club with only a minor hitch. Even though it is an Epcot area resort, you follow the signs for MGM Studios to get there. We call dad to let him know. After that, it is easy to find.
We check in with the security guard and get a parking pass, then park and head to the lobby. This resort is beautiful. Pictures don't do it justice. There is a short line for check in, so Jas and I get in line while mom and the kids sit on a rounded seat on the lobby. I am looking at all the CM's and see one with her hair pulled up in a bun. She is older and looks a little curmudgeonly.....so I am thinking "Please, I hope we don't get her."
Well, we get her. And I should know better than to judge by appearances, because Hazel couldn't have been nicer. We got a hearty "Welcome Home!" from her, and she saw that we had a two bedroom villa and a studio booked, so she fixed me two packets of information. She gave me postcards that the kids could color, along with crayons. We went over the resort map together, as well as pool opening and closing times. Our rooms weren't ready yet, so she gave me a card with a phone number on it to call and get our room numbers later. We got our room keys and were done.
About this time, Brad called and said they were almost there, so we went out to wait for them. They pulled up in the towncar a few minutes later. The kids were so happy to see them. They brought their bags in and left them with bell services.
After a few minutes we thought it would be best to head over to Beaches and Cream to get a table.
We lost mom to the DVC salesperson, where mom was talking her ear off. Poor woman! I hope they pay her well.
I told her where we would be, and the DVC CM said she would walk mom over.
We walked around, getting a glimpse of the Cape May Cafe. Then we stepped outside and saw the magnificant Stormalong Bay swimming pool. We could not wait to go swimming!
We checked in at Beaches and Cream and there was a 45 minute wait for our party size. So we grabbed a table outside and sat down to chat. Brad and Rick asked questions about the timeshare, we talked about the NY blackout. They said it was h*** trying to get out of the city that day. Rick walked from his office near the Empire State Building to the Lincoln Tunnel, where a complete stranger took pity on him and gave him a lift.
Brad took the kids into the arcade for a few minutes and Jason checked out the gym. Our wait was soon up, and we were wondering where the rest of our party was at. Turns out that Jimmie did not think to check back at the marina, he kept right on in his watermouse. He turned up an hour after we had left to head to BCV. Then dad got lost trying to find BCV. Mom sauntered in as the rest of us were being seated, followed a few minutes later by dad and my brothers. Three of us were seated at the counter, two at one table and five at another. Rick and I took the table nearest the jukebox. Mom, dad and Jimmie were at the counter. Everyone else was at a table in the middle of the parlor. I don't know what everyone else had, but can tell you what Rick and I ate. Rick ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with a side of fries. I had a veggie burger with fresh fruit. My veggie burger was very good, not spicy at all and the fruit was nice and ripe, in season. I also had a Cherry Lime Rickey. Very good. At some point during our meal, mom fell off her stool at the counter. Still not sure what happened there.....
We were tempted to get ice cream, but with the Hoop Dee Doo just hours away.....we decided against it.

what a great way to end my evening!

I'm counting my days down til my next visit!

Wow! What a group! Hard to organize everyone....sounds like you did ok though! Thanks for sharing!

Your numbers are growing....Now your at BCV had me a little confused there..

I love BCV. Beaches and Cream is our favorite. Stephen can't help but get a vanilla malt every time we walk by. I love their chicken sandwich and fries. I'm enjoying your report.
