Better Harry Potter dinner?

We will be heading to Universal Studios for one day to do all the Harry Potter things outside of Disney world and that also happens to be a birthday celebration. I'm looking at the restaurants and it looks like there's only two restaurants that are Harry Potter themed.

We will go to both but what would be the better choice for a birthday celebration dinner? Is three broom sticks the more elegant option than leaky cauldron?

Well, it's Harry Potter, so I'm not sure either would qualify as "elegant" :) I'd look at pictures online and see what the birthday girl or boy (or man or woman) likes better. I've only ever been to the Three Broomsticks, but it is very true to the movies. In the movies, the Leaky Cauldron is a dingy pub, so I'd expect the same. You can also look up the menus on Universal's website. The Leaky Cauldron definitely has more traditional Scottish fare, which may or may not appeal. Also, I will say I found the meal at the Three Broomsticks to be decidedly "theme park quality". It was fine, very edible, but nowhere near elegant or fancy, so make sure expectations are calibrated accordingly.

I’m here now and have eaten at both in the past few days. Both have the same ambiance, I would choose whichever menu appeals. My family liked 3 broomsticks best. But both are pretty similar

We've eaten at both and prefer the Three Broomsticks. Both menus are similar, but we much prefer the atmosphere/theming of the Three Broomsticks.

Yep, definitely not elegant.....think cafeteria style food...….

Not fond of either to be honest (I`m in the minority) I just don't like the food, there are some funny mixes in there........for a birthday celebration neither are remotely elegant options......but for Potter fans it might be right up your street of course..…..
