Better deal? Plus Dining or DDE?

Which one is the better deal? I have purchased the DDE card, have an AP, but I am starting to wonder if I messed up being no AP discounts for June.

For us the DDE works out better. We are not big eaters and rarely get one appetizer and one dessert with a meal, maybe one or the other.... I think we would be so full we wouldn't enjoy the food. That said, folks who have bigger appetites might do well with DDP. Or if you're willing to stretch out your meals, it might work better. For us, we found the DDE is better :)

I agree with the poster above. There is no way we would eat 2 apps and 2 desserts per meal. Also, we usually go to at least 2 signature restaurants and few CS.

It all depends on where you like to eat. :)

Add me to the list. DH could eat one meal a day and be happy. The dining plan is just waaaayyyy too much food for us.

I priced the two out, in detail, and the Dining Plan ended up being a much better deal for us. We also don't eat appetizers or desserts, normally, so I didn't include those things in my calculations. The Dining Plan represents a $143 savings over what we would have paid out-of-pocket. The DDE would only save us $180 total, and we'd have to pay for it, plus pay the difference between the six day expiring park hoppers and an Annual Pass, so it would actually cost us about $40 more than paying for everything out-of-pocket.
