Better day for Legoland?

We are planning to hit Legoland one day in early June for our Lego crazy boys. Is there any particular day that's less crowded? I'm a big Disney planner, but know nothing about this place. Thanks!

I went to LEGOLAND last October. I was worried about which day to go because I had read that school groups can fill the park on some days. I ended up emailing their customer service and asking about two possible dates and which would be best. They emailed me back quickly and said that the Thursday date I picked would be best based on their crowd estimates and groups scheduled that week. It ended up being a great trip and the park was not crowded at all.

Florida schools will long be out by early June; that won't be an issue.

What CAN be an issue is weather. If there is rain with any lightning in a 30 miles radius, they will close the waterpark and shut down all of the rides; you can get stuck there with nothing to do for hours.

Weekdays are better because locals who work mostly won't be there, but if the day is rainy, stick to Disney or Universal if you want a theme park day, because Legoland will just freeze in place until the rides dry out, and almost nothing there is under roof except the restaurants and the gift shops.

This sounds like one more reason not to use the shuttle available from the Orlando Eye complex. I had considered buying one of their combo tickets to do the Eye, wax museum, Sea Life, and Legoland using the included shuttle, but when I found out there is only one shuttle to take you there before opening and one that won't take you back until the park closes, I decided against it. We have a Tussaud's, a Sea Life, and the Texas Star at the state fair closer to home. It sure would be no fun at all to be stuck at Legoland with no transportation if all the rides were closed due to rain.

Agree. We stayed at Legoland Beach Retreat in July and drove over each day for the same reason. One day, the skies opened at 1 pm. We would have been stuck had we taken their transportation. I've got to say, I'm not a fan of much at the Merlin complex in Orlando. I so wanted to love the Eye like. Did in London, but WDW is pretty far and hard to see, and the theme park structures closer by just aren't that impressive from above (I think this is true of most theme park structures anywhere-- only the facade matters). I also wasn't impressed by Sealife like I wanted to be. Just my opinion, though.
