Going for Honeymoon in May want a nice dressy dinner. Which is better for dressy Citros or California Grill?

congratulations-to-be!!!

I have to say the one dinner experience I didn't like at DW was California Grill. The view is beautiful at night...but the food wasn't that great. So for atmosphere I say "sure" but if you want a nice dinner..."no way".

Have you thought about LeCellier in Epcot. The food is out of this world. It's a nice restaurant and relatives that have been to France say it's just as good and some dishes are even better than the real thing. You don't have to "dress up" either.

Best Wishes!

Congrats!!!!
I think Citricos is the best restaurant at WDW, not counting V&A. The view is better at CG if you get a window table. Overall much more romantic at Citricos.

The thing that stands-out in my mind from our times eating at these two restaurants is that Citricos has cloth tablecloths and California Grill has you eating on craft paper pulled off a roll. (Watch out for the paper cuts!) That pretty-much sums up the difference between the two restaurants.

I haven't dined at Citricos but CG left us cold. Food was mediocre and service was appalling. Views were great though! From the look of it, I'd say Citricos looks more romantic.

Citricos is much quieter and I feel that it's more of a romantic setting. The waiters are very polished as well. The food is fabulous. My only complaint about Citrico's is that we're very casual and laid back people and Citrico's was too fancy for us. Not much of a complaint. It is a very nice restaurant.
