Better chance calling or Online?

Do you think I have a better chance of picking up a cancellation online or by calling Disney dining? Anyone have any advice on which one is better. I have been checking online everyday all day for a CM breakfast with no luck. Do you think I might do better calling every day instead?

I asked the CM/operator the same thing this morning, she said she is looking at the same page I am. So, according to her, there's no difference. However, I find it very difficult to believe she has the same screen we do, surely the reservation operators have their own software/system. Right?

I heard somewhere the the CMs have a different screen that can open up several days to see what is available?

Can anyone confirm what they actually see?

I am also wondering which is better. We will be making our ADR the end of this month and can't decide whether to do it online or call

I prefer not holding or dealing with an operator who has no real vested interest in getting me what I want, and I hate having to say "can you check this time, or this time or this day or that day?" and feel pretty computer saavy, so I think I would check around 7AM ET every morning, isnt that when the best chance is for something being cancelled?

I will also have fun when my time comes to mess with my reservations looking as often and when I want to, without calling all the time.

That being said, DH and I plan to be on the computer and phone on Oct 27th, since it will be soooo dang busy with people being able to make reservations 180 days out.. argh.. our 90 would have been Nov 2nd and only would have been competing with other Feb disers for Operator attention!

online screen also allows you to search over four days. There is a date range box under the place where you put in the date. Checking that will cause a second date box to pop up that is the end date of the range.
