Beth's WW Journey. (Comments Welcome)

Hello All,

Well I got a ton accomplished this weekend, but now I am exhausted. I painted the ceiling, and it looks great. I also got the prep work on the walls done. I put in a new light fixture and a new bifold door in the kitchen. Kate was a big help. The dog, not so much. He now is trying to be a dalmation with all of his paint spatters. :rotfl: Food was so-so. I used some flex-points, but that is what they are for. I was up 1.6 pounds at WW. Disappointing, but not unexpected. I did not workout at all this weekend. This frustrates me. I had planned on getting on the treaddie aftr Kate went to bed, but it just didn't happen. Last night I poured myself a glass of wine and enjoyed the Oscars.

DH called about 430 yesterday to say he was on his way home. I told him I didn't want to see him. He needed to wait until after the Oscars to come home, or I wasn't going to be responsible for my actions. I guess I scared him because he stayed away. He was there when I got up this morning, so I guess I didn't scare him enough.:rotfl: I'm actually doing ok with this. This weekend proved to me that I can get things done by myself.

Ok, must actually do some work.

Take care,
Beth

What a stong independent woman! painting, light fixture...bi-fold doors! You go girl!!! :thumbsup2

Wine and the Oscars...Sounds like a nice evening.

Try not to stress over that 1.6 lbs!! I'm right there w/ ya!!! It will come off! You've been doing really great!

Hope you have a good day!
Stacie

Great job with all that you got done this weekend, Beth!:thumbsup2

Hope you have a great evening!:goodvibes

Great job Beth getting those home repairs done. Painting that ceiling was probably a good workout to boot! As for Jon, well its your house. You take care of it, nurture and love the child that lives there, he does nothing but use up space and oxygen. You have every right to tell him when he can come into YOUR home. Good job asserting yourself in a way that honors who you are.

That is a small gain, I know it stinks when that happens but given what you are going through it could have been worse. It'll be gone before you know it!

:grouphug:

Thanks Stacie, Tracy, and Amy.:flower3:

Today is super busy. We are double booked for most of the day. Fortunately I leave at 1pm. I need to get Kate to the orthodontist. Then we have dance. I will drop Kate off and head to the gym. I can get 30-45 minutes on the elliptical. I'll pick kate up, then it is homework, dinner, and getting ready for the morning. I probably won't be back today.

Take care,
Beth

:worship: You got SOOO much done this weekend. OMG...that's incredible. I guess the saying is true..."whatever doesn't kill us makes us stronger". And you've had more heartbreak than anyone I know...but it just continues to make you stronger Beth. Seriously...I'm really proud of you and although I know things are still going to be tough for you...it seems that you are really taking charge and getting to a better place. Oh...and forget the scale...not worth stressing over. You're doing great with the exercise and that is what's most important!!!

Hi Beth
glad the painting went well :)
Funny..after reading your post it brought back a memory of when ex DH & i split up - the 1st time i did something independently, it was a great feeling :)

Hi there beth, just checking in to see how your doing!!

Beth, I hope you get some Beth time this weekend! Hopefully you survived that double booked day at the office, you are one busy lady. Just keep up your good work, I am betting you have a nice loss at WW this week. Just sending you a hug and some good thoughts Wish Sis!

Hi Beth, hope this weekend went well and that you got some down time. Just thinking about you and sending you a hug!

Hey girl. Just checking on ya. Sorry I seem to be in & out of your journal lately. Please know you're always in my thoughts.

I agree with the other posters...you are an incredible, strong, independant woman who is SO much better than that man you're married to. I'm proud of you for telling him how YOU wanted things on Oscar night. It's time he realized he's not in charge. :cool1:

I'm still alive, really.

This has been an incredibly busy week. Let's see...We went wedding dress shopping for Renee. We found one, but it is ungodly expensive. We are having a knockoff made. We did order Kate her flower girl dress. It is chiffon over satin. Fitted bodice with spaghetti straps with a full tea length skirt. It is in red for luck. Renee is chinese. I also managed to get 4 loads of laundry, cleaned the kitchen and bathrooms, and workedout twice. I'm working fulltime this week, and I have 3 job interviews. I've already had the first one. It was a bust. They don't even have a current position. They have a nurse who may be leaving in the late summer. Why waste my time?:confused3 That and the pay was pitiful. I have one at 530 tomorrow morning. Then I work. After work, I go to another interview, then straight to pilates. I will also have to shovel the 8 inches of snow we are getting. Jon is responsible for kate.

Now the awesome news. Jon starts a new job on Monday. That means in 6 weeks, HE MOVES OUT!!!!! There is light at the end of the tunnel.

I will try to get to journals in the next day or so. Right now, I don't even have the energy to watch AI. I'm off to bed.

Thanks for sticking with me.
Beth

Beth, I hope you are sleeping right now to prepare for your big day tomorrow! Good luck with those two job interviews, I hope one of them is THE ONE! And I am so glad Jon is moving out, that will take a ton of stress off of you.

Find yourself a nice teenage boy to shovel that snow for $15 bucks! Try to find sometime for yourself, I worry about you!

Dress for wedding sounds beautiful, post pictures of Miss Kate in her finery! Sending you a hug, take care of you sweetie!
