I think on this trip, now that DS is 4, we will put the kids into the babysitting service and go out for a night just the two of us. We both like steaks a lot, so where would be a good place to try. FYI, I don't want something as fancy as Alberts, no coats and ties please.

Bistro de Paris is a nice place to dine. The food and the ambience is good. Check out the menu on the dining thread above to see if you like what they have to offer.

My DH is a serious steak eater and hands down his fav is Yachtsman Steakhouse - plus it has a nice atmosphere for couples.

Our favorite place for a good steak is Yachtsman Steakhouse (at the Yacht Club). Book your reservation for later in the evening (say 7:30 or later) when the crowd tends to be older and quieter. Nice atmosphere, great steak.

Second choice? Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge. They have a really good steak there, or try the Buffalo. Again, wonderful atmosphere.

The best steak I have ever had was in Canada in Epcot! It is expensive but awesome!

Yachtsman is ten times better than Le Cellier!

The Yachtsman Steakhouse at Yacht Club, or Shula's at the Dolphin.

Yachtsman hands down - much better than Le Cellier and a nicer atmosphere for adults. (although we think Le Cellier is fun too!)

Another vote for Yachtsman. We ate at both Le Cellier and Yachtsman last week. It was the first time we've done both of these places in the same trip and it sure clarified the difference in quality when they were done just 3 days apart.

Yachtsman has much better food, is quieter, and there were not any small children there which is so much nicer for those parents night out dinners!!!!

I also should point out that JIKO's filet is the best I've ever had. I'm not a filet eater, I prefer a tastier cut like a ribeye, but if you are looking for just a great filet, JIKO is another option for an adult only dinner. And it's a beautiful place.

you wanted steak AND romantic, right ? I'd day the filet at the California Grill during fireworks - hands down !

The thing about Yachtsman is it's good without being pretentious. Our girls felt comfortable (10 & 12 )there. Of course they also shared the Chateaubriand for two at $80! It is pricey, our meal for four without tip was $210. That included dessert for each of us too. It was our first time on the DDP (last time too) but we all agreed that we will gladly pay out of pocket for it!

We have had great steak at FF (winner hands down but pricey) Yachtsman (2nd place) and Chefs De France (very good and less money and romantic). I would love to go back to any of the above. Shulas cost so much money we said never again.

Definately Shula's, YS has been very inconsistent.
